I'm pretty sure that when you get knocked down, the longer you stay down, the more health you have when you get back up. Dan always gets back up as quickly as he can. Which, to be fair, makes sense since you don't want to get 10-counted out. Also, I don't remember if they discovered this in the regular circuit and just forgot, but when you get KOed and the match is about to end, if you do that same alternately-pressing-1-and-2 thing you do after knocking down an opponent to regain health, there's a chance Mac will catch himself and give you one last shot at knocking out the opponent. I feel like Dan did this a few times on the later fights in the normal circuit but don't know he was doing it intentionally. Or if I'm misremembering and it never happened.

I'd wish they would up the game volume a little, it's TOO silent (or at least be quiet when someone is saying something during cutscenes)... Also, don't dodge when they "jiggle" or whatever, but dodge when they flash red. On the NES you had to dodge when they "jiggled" but on this one you have to wait for the red flash... You dodge too fast making them still hit you sometimes (and yes, I realize they already played this like weeks ago and it's too late to say this).
