Minor detail, but... at the beginning, Don Flamenco doesn't attack until you do... because he's a bullfighter.

@UltraNerdyGamer9 жыл бұрын
I think it's actually more than just at the begining. It seems he baits Mac out a lot before he attacks. This fact actually makes Don a very unique fighter in the fact that because he'll almost always block the baited hit, it causes the player to have to waste stamina. Clever girl...
@thesalinator35579 жыл бұрын
in the original punchout for then nes, he literally only attacks yoj after taunting you, forcing you to attack, except if he just got up, where he just uppercuts you multiple times as soon as he is back on his feet.

But the time stops when opponents taunt for some reason but yeah, good eye
@jadevenator56599 жыл бұрын
That's a good catch. Speed was always his thing, since the game revolves around beating down bigger opponents and dodging all their much-stronger-than-yours attacks. Use of the timer like that is a good way to "slow time" so the player can control Mac effectively while still throwing those quick punches. Great detail. Time stops when they do certain animations for attacks (Like "uno, dos, tres...") for balancing purposes probably. There'd be far less chances to knock down opponents if you wasted each of the rounds watching them do their drawn out wind ups. I never realized how in-depth and variable the time is in such subtle ways for this game. I liked this game before, but damn that's amazing.

Please like this so the grumps can see this: shake the Wii remote and nun chuck to heal some health after knocking down a target! its REALLY going to assist you in the future matches.

Clark Cantrell They are all recorded on Monday and then they continue the next Monday. So they record the first portion of Game Grumps from about 7:00-12:00 then Steam Train 12:00-5:00 and then The second portion of Game Grumps from 5:00-??:??.

When he throws the uppercut I think is saying either "Con mi amor." or "Carne me amor." The first one means "With my love." which kinda makes sense. The second one sais "Meat my love." which sounds like an accident if they were going for "Meet my love."

Don's normal version is super easy. He likes to wait for you to attack then counter, if you dodge his counter and just batter him it works wonders. His Title Defense version isn't really very different overall, he's actually one of the easier fighters in major. Advice for anyone playing, just learn to dodge really well because the folks in World don't play around and dodging is your best choice until you get the art of counter punching down. I'd really love to see Danny get good enough to get into Title Defense and Little Mac's Last Stand mode. Just for the surprise fighter that can show up.

I love Dangan Ronpa, but that involves critical thinking to catch the killers, and the trials last like 2 hours at the least! It would be part 406 before they found the mastermind.

@ppr58011 жыл бұрын
Don Flamenco says: "Carmen, mi amor" which means "Carmen, my love". And "¿qué pasa? ¿quieres más?", which means "what's wrong? want more?". Then in the in-between rounds scene, he says "¿has visto, hombre, como enamoro a todas las chicas?" meaning "have you seen, man, how I make all the chics fall for me?". He also says "Venga" which means "bring it" and "vamos, vamos" meaning "come on, come on!" and "anda, anda" meaning either "go, go" or "do it, do it!"

His trick, unique only to him, is to LOUDLY choreograph his punches, flashing red, literally telling you hes about to swing so dodge, and then counter with some punches. It's VERY different than the last 2 games in the series and the games so insanely different that having experience with the others doesnt help in the least. Oh, theres no ducking in this game so dont even attempt it.
@Whirlwhind111 жыл бұрын

@MiaowGaiGar11 жыл бұрын
That was some good insight totally derailed by the gargantuan fallacy of the last sentence. Ducking is the only way to dodge of some attacks, although most of them can be interrupted with a hit beforehand, which is how Danny got through King Hippo and Bear Hugger.

Okay, seriously, who gives people upvotes for quoting jokes that are in the video?
@Srcsqwrn11 жыл бұрын
Senthain I feel like people don't understand why others quote it. It's just the part of the video they liked, and want to show that, that's what it is. So, there's a quote that a lot of people like, that they can't like separately from the whole video. So, people either quote it in a comment, or they like said comment. Really, that's all it is.
@teethofghosts11 жыл бұрын
Senthain who cares that much about youtube comment upvotes
@Senthain11 жыл бұрын
Because you guys apparently don't understand, people found value in someone directly quoting the video. Not in a way where they're commenting on how they like it, or using cleverly; just flat out quoting. It's lazy as hell.
@teethofghosts11 жыл бұрын
youtube comments are not a contest of making creative witty jokes. someone quoted it because they found it funny/appreciated it in the video, and people gave it thumbs up it cuz they felt the same. its not that big a deal
