The 1986 Limited Series was always meant to be five issues. Marvel made a mistake with the heading. What is true is Mike Zeck left the project after issue #4 and was replaced by Mike Vosburg that is why the art work in issue #5 is different. You are correct on issue #57 being the first variant. The photo cover was for the newsstand issues only. Great video! I enjoyed the rundown of the books.

Glad you liked the vid! I heard somewhere that the original pitch by Steven Grant was for 4 Issues and Shooter expanded it to 5, due to it's success. Can't even remember where I got the info from, probably just a rumour, because of the drop in quality for the final issue.

Very nice collection friend. I have almost the complete run of Tomb of Dracula (slabbed) at 9.6 and 9.8. Can’t afford issues 1 and 10

Awesome books. I just got AMS#129 CGC 5.0 and it took me along time to save to get it but it was my grail book and i had to have it noe i just gotta get TMNT#1 and X-Men#1 1963 to complete my collection but i will still buy any key issues i find cheap. You should save up to get AMS#129 cause if you don't get it soon it will be impossible to get with the prices going up like crazy.

Glad you likew the collection. I would like to own ASM 129, but I'm not willing to pay that much for a comic book, regardless of the fact that it might become even more expensive. I don't believe in comicbooks as an investment, I just love collecting.

That's a very impressive collection. I really love the Jim Lee artwork. Do you also have other comic books of Marvel? I'm a huge fan of the X-Men

I think I have around 15.000 Marvel books. I don't know the exact figures at the moment I'm still reorganizing my collection since the site where I used to organize them died.

I've been pretty slow with my replies on all acounts, it's been a rough year. If you really want to send me something we can exchange adresses via email. Shouldn't be to hard to find a few german books to send your way. Just keep in mind that "mach schnell" isn't my usual MO, lol. I like some of the old gimmick covers, but I'm sure as hell not paying the prices for modern foil covers, that's bullshit. I have that World of 2099 book, I think it was more like a source book, but an amazing cover. I'm leaving the 2099 stuff for a later vid. Und vielen Dank auch an dich für die Unterstützung SG!
