Punjene Paprike, Croatian Stuffed Peppers 🫑

Summer in Croatia is heralded by the arrival punjene paprike, or stuffed peppers. In this episode, I'll teach you how to make this summer classic!
Ingredients:
For 3-4 people
4 bell peppers that can stand upright on their own, color not important
1.5 lbs ground meat (1 part pork, 2 parts beef)
1 medium or 2 small onions, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/3c rice, parboiled
1 egg
salt, pepper, ground paprika, to taste

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 cup tomato sauce
