im a huge Green Day fan and honestly, this cover was amazing. i always wondered what this song would have been like not acoustic and this doesnt disappoint. well done! and for the people saying that they should have kept it acoustic, i agree to a point. it would have been nice to keep the authenticity of the song, but this is a cover so Ice Nine Kills does have the right to put their own twist on the song.

Du Hast was definitely the most demanding song, German after all. Musically its a simple song, but lyrically it would have been a bitch for a non-German speaker like Chris, yet it was a great effort

Shane Motionless Actually, it's not that hard. Pronunciation of German is very easy to catch, and it's not like Chris had to learn how to rap at supersonic speed in German (now THAT is a task even for native Deutsch speakers). Du Hast was a good choice for MIW: simple German, but still impressive and a nice sound.

Agreed, as far as German goes, they got pretty much the easiest they could get. I more meant as far as vocalists go, Chris did have to learn to pronounce German, and is the only one who had to do a whole new language. Granted for a song thats easier, however hes the only one who was required to try something new and not just stick what he was comfortable with. Either way, I prefer it to the original

colton reynolds I know their stuff doesn't really sound like this, but I did enjoy this cover. I personally wish their stuff was more progressive and unique like it used to be, but I know a lot of people that like the new stuff. Just not the type of metalcore that catches my interest. Which is why I liked this; it wasn't even really metalcore, but it did remind me of their older style in a sense.

I've heard others cover this but this very good. INK is known to scream a lot of their songs. Its good to hear Spencer's clean vocal instead of his screaming. I just listened once to get it out of the way. They did do a good job, though. Usually when a band covers a classic song, it gets fucked over and changed a lot. INK didn't do that. Respect. :)
