I was just thinking at the end of the vid what a handsome boy he turned out to be. You are lucky to have adopted him and he is lucky you did too. You were dealt a full house since a home with a loving animal is never empty even when there is nobody there.

He's got such a personality. When he wants something, he stomps his front paws on the ground. He sometimes growls at his own reflection in the windows. He demands to be under the covers at night, then eventually squirms out throughout the course of the night. He turned my 10-year-old dog back into a puppy. They play constantly, and my 10-year-old dog was having severe problems with his hips that just magically disappeared once he got a brother. He really is a perfect angel. As I write this, he's laying next to me with just his head on my legs. We're both lucky to have each other.

You know, I have been watching vet ranch since the beginning, but this one broke me. I'm a 36 year old, 6 foot 2, bearded, masculine dude. I am (20 minutes after watching the video ) just now getting my composure back after bawling like a baby. That was the most heart broken, defeated, and miserable pup I have ever seen. Good lord I just gained even more respect and admiration for the vets and rescue organizations that see this day in and out. Thank you Vet Ranch! and to everyone who donates time and money to helping these animals.

Same thing happened to me😢. I take medications for depression and mood stability and a side-effect is that they numb your emotions. This video made me feel human again, (if I had a tail it would have wagged). I could actually feel my heart going out to that pup.

I think your boxer plays a very big role in helping these animals heal emotionally. In every video I see with him in it, he looks like he genuinely wants the poor patient to feel better. He coaxes them on, tries to encourage them to play, without forcing himself on them. Your dog is a VERY good boy!

I used to be a people doctor. I love how you have the "old skills" that we were taught in passing. His gums are pale so he's probably anemic. I was taught what that meant in people, but never relied on it. Younger people docs probably dont even know to look for that. Your patients dont talk, and you dont have science that's as developed as people medicine. So you have to rely on older skills. What I think are more holistic skills. Tons of respect for that! Youre the kind of old fashioned doc for animals that I always tried to be for people. I love your videos. My heart breaks for the animals you treat. Your videos are tear jerkers.
