NBC's proud comedy legacy, which has opened doors for countless comedians, is ready to "Bring the Funny" with a new competition series for the next generation of comedy lovers. The series will feature the world's best comedic acts and, for the first time on television, embrace every style of comedy performance in one competition.
The 10-episode series will bring together some of the most prolific comedians in the industry to serve as judges - "Saturday Night Live"'s longest-running cast member, Kenan Thompson, cultural tastemaker Chrissy Teigen and comedy icon Jeff Foxworthy. Comedian Amanda Seales will serve as host for the competition.
In partnership with the international organization Just for Laughs, which has given rise to some of today's most successful comedic acts via its iconic festivals, tours and television series, "Bring the Funny" will feature the best of the best stand-ups, sketch troupes and comedic variety acts. From solo comics to sketch troupes to musicians, magicians, podcasters, puppeteers, KZbinrs and more - anyone who can make audiences laugh will have the chance to receive the career-changing $250,000 prize package and see their name in lights in the "Bring the Funny" showcase.
David Friedman and Matilda Zoltowski will executive produce. Just for Laughs President Bruce Hills serves as consulting producer. The series will be produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio.

He is an incredibly talented puppeteer bringing everything our just in the movement of the head, arms and hands. Just watch the arm movements and you can see how and detailed and precise the movements are. Crazy to think both arms are controll by one hand and everything, including when he improvs seems second nature.

I almost fell out of my chair when I seen the date on this video. I just figured it was the usual 3 or 4 or more years ago. THIS IS GREATNESS!! For those who are not familiar with Randy, please count yourselves lucky that he is on this show. And don't take his puppet looks for being in any way juvenile humor. He can be very "adult" to say the least. But his comedy is also very intelligent and thought provoking as well. And I promise you, like it says in the description, you will forget you're watching a puppet.

As he ( Randy Feltface ) is doing the skit "Line Rage" the scene from the movie 'go' kept running through my head where the character Mannie, played by Nathan Bexton, is standing an empty check out register (no employee or customers ), passing his flat hand across the scanner making it "BEEP" every time the real employee scans her customers item to check them out. This goes on for a while, sometimes multiple scans at time until their eyes meet alluringly and they break out into a dance to the song "La Macarena" ( Los Del Rio - kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5_dq4Gmba2fjLM ) I think Randy Feltface is FUNNY and a good change of pace for comedy that we all need right now. I haven't watched all of his videos yet, especially the one: Randy Writes a Novel (over an hour long ) but I intend to! Randy is always so great, but my goodness these realty TV competitions always insist on absolutely butchering the performances with the editing. Constantly cutting to the judges, with their reaction audio way too loud in the mix. Just let us watch. Maybe cut back a couple times if you REALLY want us to see how the judges feel. Network TV will continue to die out to streaming if they keep treating their audience like idiots.
