He’s just the cutest little thing!!! I’ve been grooming my own standard poodle for 11 1/2 years, and I learned so much from KZbinrs like you when I was starting out. Great job!

I have a mini doodle puppy, and she is not a fan of baths/dryer, but doesn’t mind clippers on her pads, and lets me trim around her face/eyes. Thank you for sharing…it helps to see how to handle small, wiggly, curious puppies!

Awwww such a sweet little pup. He did a great job for his first time. That is a big credit to you as a terrific groomer and animal lover. Great job! Thank you for the thinning shears tip. I have an elderly Standard Poodle and I’m elderly too. So he lays on his side on the grooming table for me that I lowered to my sitting height. I have a bad back. Anyway, although I use a professional clipper with comb attachments, I think the thinning sheers will help me around his face and other hard to clip areas. Happy New Year I hope you have a great one.

Good job! He was super wiggly. Very educational. I have been grooming my dogs at home for 16 years. Currently I have a 5 year old standard poodle and a 1 year old Maltese Shih Tzu mix. I appreciate your videos. They are so helpful. Question: How come you didn’t trim the hair off the tip of his penis?
@LoveofGrooming10 ай бұрын
Thank you. It was his first grooming and I find puppies react to the hair cut so I didn't want him to go home licking his penis. I do sometimes leave a wick so they don't pee on their legs. The wick helps the pee go to the ground and not on the fur.

Gosh, his skin is new. Slicker too much?😢
@LoveofGrooming10 ай бұрын
His hair is being brushed not his skin. His skin is not delicate or paper thin. Do you really think the dogs skin would rip? I am assuming you are not a groomer and have never brushed a dog or your own hair. Do you realize skin can stretch? Try moving your skin you will be amazed. Why the crying emoji? If you have a dog try brushing your dog and see if the skin rips. Educate yourself before you leave ridiculous comments or ask a question about the skin before assuming. You really think I would hurt a dog and post on KZbin?
