I’m glad you showed Darby who has a different command word! I already use touch as “touch my hand with your nose” and I was trying to think of a different word I could use!

I like how Tom included when he makes a mistake too because this stuff is impossible to always do right but it can feel easy to get discouraged seeing people on social media and KZbin doing it

My Corso just turned 4 months and I’ve been following this series every week. Thank you!!! You’ve really helped me a lot with building confidence and a foundation for my boy. This “touch” starts today/power steering #NoBadDogs

I got my No Bad Dogs slip lead and sticker in the mail today! My pup did great on a walk with it this afternoon... Not the sticker, i mean the line. Anywho, thanks for the great content!

First - Yes! Burleigh is super cute! Second - I love this exercise. I've got to figure out how to incorporate it into the training classes I teach.

Awwww that's how you trained Koda to do the left command and his ass is touching your leg. Love it! We have the hind end awareness on a wobble disc and now I can build more!! ~thank you for this video and all your videos- I'm learning a ton!!

Heard you reference horse training several time, I know horses, I don't know dogs, but love watching your videos ^^ The leach on the back end, we use that a lot with horses, it's a lasso instead of a leash, helps them desensitize their rear end and lossen the back end, it's really great for horses! Love to see the parallels

This break down was very very helpful. I have a Whippet just a month older than B that I have had for about 5 weeks. I have also been wanting a tighter heel position with my 7 year old Whippet for Rally Obedience. This technique will help me get there. Thank you!

Looks like you will need a tire rim for a "touchpad" 😂 He's a hunk o' love. Good to see you putting this early training in. Never understood why some people ( especially in the pure positive crowd) think that most puppies can't learn basic skills by 6 months old. It's so important, especially for breeds that may become increasingly "independent thinkers" as they mature. Good boy , Burleigh! Good boy, Tom! ❤ Great educational video.

Just like horses, they have a side that will bend more than the other. I always have to work on the side that doesn’t bend as much, but the premises, the same I just never thought to apply it to a dog training session before who I learned something new sweet I can’t wait to try it.😊

You can make a more hard stand by using the inexpensive silver dog bowls in a large size and use spray adhesive to attach a circle of yoga mat/foam rubber play mat/ rubber shelf liner on the bottom for a non slip surface you can take it with you for a water bowl and a practice stand. 👍😊

Thank you for sharing your love of dogs with the world 🫶 The way your videos have helped & continue to help is something I consider priceless and a blessing, tbh! I have 2 young adult sons who have a deep compassion for animals, esp dogs... So, as one can imagine, over the years, I've ended up with many random dogs in need. That said, we really don't have the extra funds to pay someone work with all of them, so I do everything I can personally. It's a task at times & I wonder what am I thinking lol 😳 However, I'm always learning something new... Your knowledge, tips & the different ways of working with them have helped more times than I can count!! Thank you again & God Bless from our family to yours 🙏
