I just got a 07 gt 5 speed in satin silver I’m a hardcore Camaro fan I’ve owned 2 Camaros already and plan to get at least 1 more at some point 😅 but if there was any yr mustang I would buy it had to be a 05-09 these cars literally revived the muscle car community who knows where Camaros and Mopar boys would be if not for the S197s

Gotta love the S197s. The 11-14s have my heart, but it was nice to get a relatively clean 3v for pretty cheap. I’m sure I’ll step it up eventually, but I’m having fun with it. Gotta love those Camaros too

Stock headers, to no cats, to no mufflers. One pipe for each bank, straight back to MBRP tips. No X or Y pipe, just true dual exhaust. Stupid loud

Hey, I’m currently looking at these 2005-2009 S197 Mustangs. I have a question, I am looking at both the 4.0 and the 4.6 versions (only interested in manual). I am currently commuting to school and other driving. Probably 150 miles a week. I was wondering if the V6 gets noticeably better mileage, to the point where I should scratch the GT idea and go with the V6 for my commuter. Thanks for the comment!

Hi there, it seems like the overwhelming majority of people who buy the 6cyl cars wish they went for the GTs. They’re also not that more expensive on many occupations. I had a blast with this car and got between 16-22mpg. That’s my two cents! Hope this helps.

Thanks. Can’t go wrong with chrome on any red, but the black SVEs are pretty cool in my opinion. Definitely go well with the car and I think it gives it a more subdued look. It’s not beggin for too much attention, just simple. Best of luck with your new purchase!

Yeah, it’s got stock headers into literal true dual straight pipe (no cats/no resonators/no h-pipe). Then MBRP muffler delete instead of rear mufflers. She’s loud, but it sounds fantastic. Plan for this winter is to install the headers that came with it, BBK midpipe, then keep the MBRP muffler delete. If it’s too loud with that setup, then I’ll do Borla Ataks or save some money for some Corsa mufflers to quiet it down a tiny bit. Long story short, she sounds fantastic. Poor neighborhood.

I am not positive on the drop, but I’m pretty sure it’s on 2” eichback lowering springs. It rides pretty good, especially for what it is. I like how balanced the static setup is, not bouncy, just planted. Thanks a lot!

I have a 07 Boss Mustang not sure 🤔 🤔 🤔 what Boss means but the amount of plastic they use in the interior is unbelievable it’s everywhere. The carpeting in this vehicle 🚗 🚗 🚗 is very poor does not cover the interior floor in the front where your feet are, you can see the underly. The amount of money 💰 💰 💰 I paid for this car 🚗 🚘 🚙 in my opinion is not worth it. The only thing good 😌 😊 👍 about this car 🚗 🚘 🚙 is the fact it gets a lot of looks but I wouldn’t want to be in a accident in this Mustang because if it ever court 🔥 🔥 🔥 fire you would have a lot of toxic smoke coming from it because of the plastic. Does not have steering wheel controls for the head unit just a mass produced car that’s all it is. Even the door panels are pealing off.
