Well said ! As said above, I thought big man Jacobson was a rising star--hope he is hitting the weights a bit while he rehabs & recovers ! But Furst has really (finally ! Had talent !) Stepped up !

Purdue has completely changed the way they played since the A&M and Auburn losses so we’ll see what happens against better competition now

As a Purdue fan, I love everyone's expectations being low. Supposed strong program Illinois loses at home to bottom-of-conference USC and the next day Purdue again trounces an opponent. Keep sleeping on them, it's fine with us.

I agree with you. Purdue played top rank teams compared to Florida, Michigan, & Michigan State. They have evolved as a team and keep evolving every game. #boilerup

Furst starting has solved a lot of our rim protection problems. Also, Cox isn’t the only one who can score without a ball screen. Fletcher and TKR get theirs all the time.

So Purdue has been dominating and all Ant and Dauster can do is be negative. We should have dropped way more than 100 on a good Nebraska defense to get any sort of positivity. Ant’s obsession with downplaying Braden is getting pretty weird at this point. I’m concerned about Ant’s lack of objectivity re: Braden

Wow, you're telling me that big, athletic guards cause purdue problems? What insight! As a counter, what teams wouldn't have problems with big, athletic guards? It amazes me what passes for analysis...

Size and athleticism don’t even count for everything. I swear this channel is so hyperfocused on size and athleticism it’s such a narrow-minded view of the game.

Yeah the whole "if you have athletic guards" talking point screams "break glass if in need of immediate narrative". It's practically a meme.

Jacobsen would be blocking 3 shots a game, getting 3 dunks a game and draining two threes a game by now. He would be blossoming and make them unreal.

We are NOT in Auburns’s league so I’m not excusing things, but I’ve been watching since ‘66, and w the exception of the Steph Curry game, in those 59 years we have NEVER played well finals’ week, and the Auburn/A&M games bracketed finals. If there are 4-5 bad matchups we’ll take our chances.

Wow. I thought you were going to give Purdue the flowers they deserve. Watch out. Purdue is ranked higher than UConn and is definitely better than traditional powerhouses Kansas and UNC.

Time will tell... They're finally starting to figure out how to play without a 7 footer. They looked lost in games on offense to start the year. Changing the lineups and the freshman getting more playing time, is starting to put things together.

In all fairness the 2 teams Purdue played that were ranked are top 10. And at the time they will still adjusting lineups to find something that works. Now that they have they are blowing out these teams like the higher level teams would.
