These "tool box systems" have some crazy prices. They're handy...but, man, they can go for some obscene amount of money. Thanks for the review!

You ain’t kidding. Marketing genius. How to sell plastic tool boxes 2-4x the price? Connect them together. Thanks for watching!

Hey Mike, When you test the next the rolling modular toolboxes please test on rolling on rough gravel surfaces ect. We are looking one for going to the range but some are rough paths so we are concerned with wheel size.!! Bourbon Boys thank you in advance!!🥃🥃🍻

Great suggestion Joe! Which one would you like to see next? Im thinking Bauer, Toughbilt or maybe another budget, Craftsman or Ryobi. Let me know and Thanks for watching!!

I find a cardboard box works well for my painting tools. I cut a box to fit my Dewalt shelving and cut the front a bit lower for access. I think your issue might have had more to do with organization than the painting too container. I also have the organization problem. :) I really like the Sherlock extension poles I have. The only issue I ever have is a roller frame occasionally coming a bit loose, but that happens with any threaded painter pole. 6-12 foot is definitely too long for 8 foot ceilings. I think I have only used mine once or twice. 4'-8' is definitely best and I even use the 2-4 foot poles a lot.

100% organization issue on my end. 😂🙄 I’ll check out the Sherlock poles if that Purdy doesn’t last. Thanks for watching MAGA!

Great one Mike! Looking for a modular one that you can buy bottom wheeled one and add "A LA CART" for the other boxes. For going to range/matches to carry supplies . Keep on testing them!! Bourbon Boys Approved! 🥃🥛

I think we'll check out the Bauer boxes from Harbor Freight next. They are crazy inexpensive. Thanks for watching Joe!

Boy, I'm with you. I have all these painting supplies all over the place. This seems to be a good idea, except on the Purdy's site, it seems that these go for $310 plus tax ($259 on Amazon), maybe a bit expensive for those of us who don't make a living painting. So for now, the painting supplies remains in cardboard boxes here.

Yep it’s a tough sell but pretty comparable to most tool box systems out there. The channels acquired so many tools over the last couple years that my lack of organization has really become apparent. And we’re always running out of space. Thanks for watching Meat!

Like the ridgid pro gear 2.0 but a lighter weight limit version ?
@MattHmm-rq6dn4 ай бұрын
That's alot for thoes at that point cheap rigid boxes? I'm firmly gonna keep buying packout if it isn't that much more. I do run a packout hand truck and I'd be tempted to do clear homestore totes and strap them to the hand truck at that point. The Purdy stick I hope it works out for you because they are rhe worst one I've ever used even over the allway. They are heavy rattle alot excessively thick all bad stuff. I'm mid 6f myself and I only need a 1-2f stick (very hard to find actually) I recommend the wooster gt sticks every time. I've even ran over one with a 1ton truck before stl usable! The Purdy are made in China the ones I have wooster is usa and occasionally with global materials not always though. The wooster was cheaper (way lighter too) than the Purdy full retail no account discounts. That's my experience with paint sticks apartment maintenence and home remodels down to studs.

I'm thinking this is more gimmick than practical for a painter. I mean it's nice but the price they want for a lighter duty plastic storage system, it's not there. I got a Sterilite foot locker at Walmart for around $20 (this was years ago) that I keep my painting supplies in. I don't do it anymore but I used to do a bit of side jobs that were painting and that container worked for me.
@bossmanz284 ай бұрын
The side latches are basically the same as ridgid. I wonder if ridgid boxes work with it. The price is ridiculous. It should not be the price of the premier boxes like packout, flex, mod box, toughbuilt toughsystem 2.0 and all if they arent as heavy duty. Should be like $150 then maybe ppl would buy it. Maybe even $100. I'm seeing some other systems going for that but maybe they are on sale

Bauer has 6" wheels and the Huskey 7" wheels, Rigid and Milwaukee and Ryobi have 9" "all Terrain wheels" so 2 of them? Of course the Bauer is less $$ but you get what you pay for. Do you ready need 9" wheels?

@@ProjectsForAllReviews Don't get me wrong, I love the channel and will continue to watch. I just think these pack out systems are a scam.

I don’t disagree! It’s genius really. We spend hundreds on plastic toolboxes that used to be cheap just because they lock together. Every tool company jumped onboard, that’s how you know the profit margins are big!

I don’t disagree William. They all seem overpriced to me then again I just got home from grocery shopping and half a cart was what I’d expect a car payment to be. Thanks for watching!

The Ridgid is definetly more...better. And cheaper. And more diverse. I mean, this doesn't even offer an open basket. Sorry, I think this is gimmicky. I am a pro painter and this is definitely not "for" painters.

Man.. ever since the grizzley track saw review, your videos have been pretty boring not gonna lie. No disrespect just letting you know
@ProjectsForAllReviews4 ай бұрын
I appreciate the constructive criticism Michael. We’ve done a bunch of smaller vids and tools lately on purpose. Times been short since we moved as the new house needs a lot of work and we’re not settled in yet. Also I’ve been holding off on the first of multiple table saw reviews because we’re over run with cicadas over here and the noise is insane. This vid was shot very early am before they get too crazy. They should be dying off in a few weeks and hopefully we’ll start with the first of multiple table saws. Bosch GTS15-10 is first. Thanks for watching!
