+Joy Amin Can you please let us know the batch number (can be found on the bottom of the bottle? I have seen that it has been reformulated since the original release. Mine is 2015 batch and the longevity is very very poor. 2 hours perhaps with an average sillage and after 3 hours...skin sent. So i am trying to find out if the 2015 it a bad batch and the previous or 2016 is good.

Hello Joy, i just bought Mugler Pure Leather recently. I couldnt pass it up for the price $30, and yes it is the REAL fragrance. I understand it is not most people's favorite, but i was wondering if you had any thoughts on Pure Leather?

Totally agree with the review! I love the house of Thierry Mugler, but Pure Havane and Pure Malt are the best flankers of the Godfather A*Men.

Pure Tonka destroys both of them performance wise. Pure Tonka has not been reformulated, however both Malt and Havane have been. I stocked up on Pure Tonka, i have 7 backup bottles. Now that L’Oréal owns the house of Mugler, who knows if they will discontinue Malt and Havane, i have 6 backup’s of Malt and Havane just in case they get discontinued and are hard to find, among my backups of Malt, i have 2 vintage 2009 batches.

Good morning Joy, how are you doing out there and I hope the weather is not treating you bad.. Pure Havane is def in my list to buy, I sprayed it when we went to the mall and you can get that feel of tobacco/cuban cigar/ honey kinda. I think it will be very good for night out and who ever wears this will sure stand out no doubt. Someone I see would have been wearing this is Al Pacino Scarface..lol.. The real MOB BOSS

yes sir...i agree...i love the smell of cigar....good ones....its very manly and aromatic...definitely night time dinner by the lagoon or a a coastal restaurant...latin music playing would be perfect.i am better now...was down for a few days....now busy days all of a sudden...im sorry for the late reply...i know you will love this if you liked pure malt,. i cant wait for my that bottle :)

two very different scent....Amen is a legend..this is unique and sophisticated....very strong but not dark...both will get high marks..but in terms of reaching for the bottle..ill go pure havane's way more

Joy Amin, yes sir, it smells like all things Bad Azz in a bottle. It gets alot of hate for some reason, but to me the scent is Amazing. Instantly feel Cool.

i got the reformulated one as you can see from box..they said its being released again so it should be very much available..but in uk they are going to take down few frags from Mugler which is sad.thanks man

Hi Joy , Let me share my latest experience with this one .I was about to purchase pure malt , but decided to go check Havane again after your review , so yesterday I was going through the shopping malls around and was able to find it in the 3rd or 4th one I checked :D. So I put malt and havane on my two hands to compare through the day. It is funny enough that havane should have tobacco but I sniffed more tobacco in pure malt :) All that I got through the day from pure Havane was pure cherry, very nice quality cherry a bit reminded me of Guerlain Ideal EDP .Of course the dry down is based on the original but mostly I got sweet cherries. I also found it a bit stronger and more dominant than pure malt and will probably give better sillage and projection but I still prefer malt if I should compare them at all. Have a nice one!

id ot dare cut the bottle...you know me man...i really adore the presentation...i dont mind spraying few times...yes they should improve the sprayer..but smell wise..i have no complains...holy cigar lol

Yes, I thought if I want to do it or not but presentation is not 100% and enjoy the easier better spraying :D and it looks still awesome, especially from the front you dont see the top etc.... It looks awesome. I love good presentations as well.

Joy Amin The AMen Pure bottles are the sexiest things. The terrible 'guess work' sprayers just add to the sexyness as far as I am concerned. Lol That star on the rubber flask....nothing like it! Looking out for your review on PH....a favourite of mine too.

Havane's performance was so bad for me and didn't enjoy smelling like a cherry cough sweet. Pure Malt won my heart.

i can see that comparison...its not a sure thing...very strong cigar note can be turn off for some people..PM easily is a genius scent

Must've had a bad batch. Havane has great performance, it's not a room filler but it has decent sillage and it lasts hours.
