this was the song that i first heard by dayseeker back in 2021. it kept popping up in my recommended over and over again. i can't begin to explain how this song made me feel on first listen. it was like i always knew of its existence, but i lost it at some point and it finally found its way back to me. it all made sense right off the bat. a masterpiece of post-hardcore.

They have a couple of Sirius XM live performances..including this song and it is amazing. The other live is Neon Grave, also spectacular. You should check those out as well as their cover of My Immortal by Evanescence..chills every time. Burial Plot and Without You are also great songs to check out! I honestly don't think they have a bad song!

Dark Sun (2022) and Sleeptalk (2019) are Dayseeker’s softer albums. Definitely softer post-hardcore. It’s a shame because I think their best stuff is the heavier albums off Dreaming is Sinking /// Waking is Rising (2017), Origin (2015), and What It Means to Be Defeated (2013). They sound a different band back then. I recommend Sleep in the Sea, pt 2 off Dreaming is Sinking. Had a Garrett Russell (Silent Planet) feature that’s really good

Saw Dayseeker in Dublin last month.. Rory is an incredibly good live vocalist. You should check out the rest of the Sleeptalk album, i'd put it above 6:06 Dark Sun and i adore that album.
