a superb song, by a great band. A smash hit in our car, with a 4 kids backing choir.

The emphasis on the line The million bright ambassadors of morning and the way he sings it causes the hair on my neck to stand up. So good. What a song.

4:30 "A million bright ambassadors of morning" Somewhat obscure Pink Floyd reference right there.
@mattydigs8 жыл бұрын
+Ian Patterson Eh, I don't think 'Echoes' , regarded by MANY, as Floyd's greatest song, is that obscure of a reference.

Great musical piece, interesting video as well. This group reminds me a bit of Sky Cries Mary. I'm definitely a fan of PRR and all it took was one song.

Apparently VEVO rations pixels, so they had to make a 12-minute video with only 3:40 worth of non-black screen
@Novelboy211211 жыл бұрын
All this time and I had no idea they'd actually made a music video. Wonderful.

Amusingly, in my case, I discovered the song through the video. They used to air it A LOT on 120 Minutes on MTV UK back in 2005. But that show aired after midnight, so I can't imagine a lot of people saw it. Forgot to say that I absolutely love this track. Hadn't listened to it in quite some time, though, but it's still just as brilliant. Hasn't aged at all.
