Katrina is the singer with short hair. She is known as "Asia's Vocal Supreme" and is considered by many, to be the best all-around female vocalist on the planet! Her portfolio is extensive and there is very little she cannot sing. Huge range and 5 octaves! Dude. I'm of an age where I can remember the Mariah, Whitney and Celine at their peak. I for one basically gave up on looking for the next MC, or Whitney, till I heard Katrina singing that song on the Wish Bus. I'm no trained singer by any means, but like the first time I heard Mariah on her Emotions Unplugged concert, it's a case of, when you know? You just know. Full stop. What an absolute beast

Katrina's first verse hits differently because she recently (Oct or Nov of 2021 and they were only married for a few months. But they've been together for years) lost her husband, Mike Shapiro who is on his own right is a great musician, He's a drummer, percussionist and producer among the things he does. He has worked with so many artists in so many genres. Most notably, Sergio Mendes, Justin Timberlake, Macy Gray, the great Al Jarreau and more. He even worked on many movie soundtracks as well. So every time I see this, it just gives me goosebumps and I feel her pain. But what a duo!

These girls are definitely amazing Filipino artists who can hold their ground against famous international singers.
