The two of you standing triumphantly over the last cut of your last rafter was both hilarious yet, with a true feeling of triumph. That is visual art being able to get both humor and real emotion in that simple shot. Congrats you two from a fellow Idahoan.

My grandmother talked about covering cut ice with sawdust in 1915 Iowa to save the ice till august. THey had a ice house with a pit lined with saw dust and then filled with ice blocks cut from the pond. The would sell ice cream at the fourth of July. Great story hope your pipe stay warm.

Two pumps of grease in every zerk everyday. Check oil, air filter, Hydraulic fluid and fill with clean filtered fuel at the end of every day. Check for loose oil filters and blow out the radiator daily in dusty conditions with compressed air. If you have a problem like a broke zerk fix it then do not wait. Check tires every morning and keep an eye on your gauges, if you drop oil pressure shut it off. Its only one backhoe not that hard to pull maintenance.

Absolutely great video. Work and lots of fun too. Love the victory poses and the pink finish line tape for the last rafter.I guess the saw mill area will be parking for a week? Jessi said in another video that he felt like he didn't know how the Shelter shop fit it all in their shop. The timber frame you all put up at class didn't look as large with as many pieces. Maybe that was it? Love the shelter shirt... "Satisfaction with every erection... it's a timber framing thing". Awesome.

Wow! What an inspirational video! Hard to believe for a non-procrastinator, but the 'achievement statue' pose and the general feel of "you'd feel good if you persist" helped me a lot. Because, on a logical level, everyone know that is a valid principle, but to *see* it helps the subconscious believe it and want to imitate the kind of persistence evident in your videos.

I've always been told you should do all the grease fittings every time you refuel, in normal conditions, and more often for sandy or in water usage. Bottom line, the more the merrier if you plan on keeping the machine and wish to keep repairs to a minimum.

Grease the joints until you see the color of the new grease coming out of the joints. If not then your just moving the old grease around in the joint. You want to force the old grease out with the new grease. Your machine will take appx. 2-4 medium size tubes. And i have the best results with Lucas grease. Love the build. Looks beautiful.

For all you people that don't like Jessie's attention to detail, you've evidently forgot what it's like to be around someone who doesn't give you any info at all, and if you have to decide which one you'd rather have, you'll take Jessie's over indulgence to detail any day and it's really a blessing in disguise.
