@@at-cj2iy It's sold better than xbox's best selling system xbox 360, but yes Ken Kutaragi did get ahead of himself by betting that Sony's many other divisions would also buy and use the Cell Processor thusly lowering the price of the new technology with increased adoption, when that didn't happen the problem of price arose, add in the super new blu-ray technology and Sony was losing nearly $300 on every PS3 sold. It was a crazy time in the beginning, but amazingly by 2009 things had started turning around and PS3 got down to $299, and the exclusive 1st party IPs increased more and more every year.

GTA used it. It sucks that it doesn't work on PS4, so you can't control the acceleration. The song starting at 8:15 sounds a lot like the Vice City theme song.
