Such a busy time to get ready for Purim. But you have handled the little problems very well. Junior firefly not well, Mr Firefly goes to Costco. Can't find boxes, they do turn up. Bags too big, you make them fit. Do not berate yourself for making a mess or not having costumes finished. You have time. I'm sure the younger fireflies are happy to help out. We don't celebrate Purim (we're Catholic) or have Movie Nights (our kids are too little), but your awesome Movie Kits made me want to start having Movie Nights😀! Btw, the size of the bags was PERFECT: They weren't too big in the slightest and made the kits look like the awesome surprises that they are. I bet the kids will be so excited! Hi Chana! I’m not Jewish but I’ve been a member of our JCC for many years. It’s all decorated for Purim, and the little ones in preschool there are so excited for it! As for costuming, I’ve found sleeves to be difficult. About 10 years ago I was making an Ali Baba style vest with the big puffed looking sleeves, and I couldn’t get it right. I finally went to Goodwill and bought a ladies dress with big sleeves. I cut the sleeves off the dress and sewed them on the vest. Boom! Easy peasy. I left the seam where it attached to the vest at the armpit open for ease of movement. I was wearing a T-shirt under the vest. Have fun this weekend! Happy Purim!

Pull the corner down under the bottom of the box and tape it down. Put a ribbon around the top like a ponytail and cut the top down I had a gift shop and we did them that way.
