Once & awhile somebody, somewhere captures on video, a truly perfect slice of time....an essential piece of video. Your short piece here captures the moment perfectly....a beautiful boat, my favorite color BTW...simple soundtrack, HD quality, no corny music, no windnoise...& you don't get seasick from 99% of the amateurs with a camera........Thanks & kudos to all for making this....PS, with any luck mine will be a Cary 50 in the same color scheme...

ZipZapPower Your more than welcome!....remember, the tripod is your friend! Bulky as it might be, it's worth its weight in Gold...Image stabilization programs not-withstanding... I'm considering reworking my Sony HSC-55 17M pixel camera......the audio section is just one of these BB sized microphone elements.....I have since glued a chunk of Headphone spare padding foam....to function as a windsock....AKA "dead cat"....I will continue to experiment further. Ask virtually anyone what Cardioid means for videography & you get a blank stare....Maybe I'll affix a small seashell atop my camera???? for audio directivity..???

+Ricardo Ellison Tripod in this vid is a Sachtler 18, I now use a Sachtler Ace L and love it! For my 5D Mk III it provides mostly the same stability and fluid motion but significantly lighter, I do zero video stabilization or corrections in post. The audio... shotgun mic in this context is the only way to go, no seashells or toilet roll needed.... I switch between a Sennheiser MKE-400 with Sennheiser Windjammer for easy setup which is a trade off to audio quality or a Sennheiser MKH-416 with Rycote Softie and an AZDEN or Beachtek Audio adapter. (if I may offer, RODE products are JUNK compared to Sennheiser, DO NOT BUY RODE)

ZipZapPower I knew it!! Your panning was far too smooth for a rank amateur......I have a budget of zero for any video improvements, thus the seashell. My wife was fully recalcitrant when I popped for a Infinity Qb rebuild project( a commercial Hi-fidelity speaker)....video gear is really out of the question. I do some pretty decent post production of the zillions of digital pictures I have.....I get one of these "when did you take this picture?"
