Ebadd9 makes more sense to me in the chorus as it creates that dreamy feel that makes the original song unique. Same goes for the dominant 7 in the pre-chorus - an F is actually played on the guitar and Prince's voice turns it into an F7, but that tension really gives it that uniqueness.

By clicking on the Gear (settings) icon and then you can adjust the playback speed and then gradually up the speed as you improve

I’ve tried slowing it down in the gear settings but it distorts the bass notes . I know that’s not supposed to happen but it does, at least on my phone .
