One huge tip for Purery Delicious Memory: It can make _any_ monster on the field battle immune. So you can make an opponent's small monster battle immune then run into it over and over that turn to do massive damage. Especially useful since other memories grant stat boosts and multi attacks. Also, Purery Leap lets you rank up _or down_ your Purery XYZ, and they only get spun at the end of _the next turn,_ so you can rank down one of the Expurery to a rank 2 to save it from something, then on your next turn re-rank it back up into another Expurery. Rank 2 Epurery Happiness also specifically is not a once per turn on its battle search, so if it's got the multi-attack material you're gonna be searching a _lot._ And of course, none of the quick play spells have any once per turns on them, so you've also got that working for you. When I first saw Purery I knew I was going to try playing it. I just really like XYZ a lot more than any other extra deck type, and I especially like XYZ archetypes that XYZ summon differently than normal. Kinda why I also _really_ like Exosisters. (especially Magnifica) So the idea of an archetype with level 1 main deck monsters that layer themselves and a quick play spell into rank 2s, that can then overlay into rank 7s, really gets my attention. Also helps they're so cute and fluffy.

He did an Ogdoadic TMT, but did it very poorly around the time Chaos Ruler and Halq was still legal. Back then the power level and skill ceiling of the deck was incredibly huge and he played a build that utilized none of it. But nowadays I think Ogdo is too much of a shell of a former self to be featured on a TMT.

So happy you got to play this deck! I personally do not like the brave engine or bystials in the deck, i like focusing more on a big noir summoning off the trap, that way you can use plump on your opponents turn, potentially banish things with its effect, attach more material from its effects, and then put up a noir with 8-10 materials. I think the deck is definitely a rogue/tier 2 competitor after cyber acesstorm. I hope It is!

Blanket targeting prevention for every special summoned purery should be a reason enough, means you're guaranteed to never get impermed/veilered on your excavate. If that wasn't enough you also get a free ss of a purery on destruction giving you a free excavate AND you can attach from deck. Granted sleepy is the strongest option which we don't have right now, but an additional delicious never goes astray. Targeting prevention is very funny, ever seen a labrynth deck try to play through that? Every single trap they run targets barring idp. It can literally win games

Yeah unfortunately purrley isn’t much without Purrley Lilly. But with Lilly it can bait out of a lot of interaction and still make the towers the same way regular purrley can, it is incredibly effective in the right circumstance

The issue is that the new dark and quick play break the xyz boss monster that could steal, spin and be unaffected by activated effects. Being able to search either the field, continuous spell or trap from any of the quick plays is very very strong.

They already released a new purely monster being "purrely lily" and another quick play being "purrely sleepy memory" The monster card is alright it's like purrely but instead of mill 3 you can add a NONE quick play purrely card to your hand aka either purrely, purrely leap (never play purrely leap unless u know u can rank up next turn), purrely my friend (best choice) and purrely street. Next you can target a quick play in gy then use purrely lily and said quick play to xyz into the equivalent monster....which makes me question what sleepy memories xyz will be if anything Then sleepy memory is classic discard a card ss purrely and also makes the next time you take battle damage you take 0 and its attached effect is draw a card during standby so it's pretty good

With sleepy memory you can draw 8 cards if you get the perfect board and your opponent has a card in GY, but I've fairly consistently drawn at least 4 off it. Just use the trap while still in standby to go into Noir, and all the effects trigger again since none are HOPT.

The worst thing is they couldn't just put this in like...a main set? Like if these were all commons, bulk in a power set, at the very least since those get cracked to all high hell these cards would be readily available for people who might want to play them. Look at Melffys, a cute XYZ rogue strategy, that since their cards really are all commons or low rarity chaft if anyone wants to tinker with them they can just go to TCG Player or their LGS and probably pick up the whole core for the price of lunch.

@@chaotixthefox the deck, as it stands, is objectively not a powerful deck or tiered deck in contention with the current power level of Tearlament/Kashtira/Spright/etc. but that's ok. If anything, having lower powered decks in high powered sets instead of Amazing Defenders would mean more people could play them. I adore the Purrely deck and artstyle, but it doesn't warrant (tbh most archtypes from these deckbuilder sets do not) a whole set release. None of these deckbuilder archtypes from Amazing Defenders do.

I been playing this little guy ever since his Deck Build pack in OCG. Its odd to not have the field spell, leap, lily, or sleepy memory Especially since they basically all give you recovery and sleepy gives you more draws since its xyz effect is not a hard once per turn you can get 3 draws for every one of your opponents standby phases
