Purring Lion Kings

I swear they are almost purring ;
Tonga & Alex have a beautiful friendship, Tonga relies quite heavily on Alex now in his later years (he is almost 20!!) for comfort & protection. You can almost hear Alex saying “put yer feet up Tonga & have a cup o tea” 😅

True. I remember that was one way they distinguished big cats (lions, leopards and jaguars) from small cats (puma, lynx, etc.) : big cats roar, small cats scream.

Those are actually purrs, the sound is made by the same vocal organ that also helps them roar, the same goes to cats, however cats cannot roar, which makes them different from the other big cats

@@Catlover_0509 What's the sound my Maine Coon makes called?...She doesn't meow. .I think she's half dog because she taught herself to play fetch and she sleeps almost exclusively at night... About 6-8 hrs a day...She rarely naps during the day. Not to mention, she's 8 months old and towers over her 6 yr old Russian blue sister. She also loves strangers. She wants anyone she meets to play with her. ... She's the sweetest girl ever... 💜

astrology doesn't mean shit, it's based off of a star constellation that hardly looks like a lion but humans have decided it does, and remembering them was easier. Just like knowledge was passed on via stories, cause people remembered the stories better than just the facts. These constellations were used to navigate through time and space (at a time when people didn't have compasses or smartphones). Your birth has nothing to do with lions. You can still find the real animal amazing tho.
