@RaymondHng

Where does it say the locker was broken for 62 years? Your reading comprehension of this video is incorrect. The locker has been there for 62 years. Only the spacer (lining) was loose and that was a recent development. _It never said the spacer was loose for 62 years_ .

They had the coolest cars: the 1957 Chevy Corvette, the legendary '57 Mercedes 300 Gullwing, the '54 Cadillac Eldorado convertible (a mint condition one is worth over $160K now!), the '57 Bel Air, the list goes on and on.

For those defending the school - being sealed behind lockers is no excuse. That means they haven't put in new lockers in 62 years?? Imagine the years of grime, dirt, rust, dust mites, etc. on, in and behind the lockers.

Some people don't read and comprehend things and it shows. The purse wasn't sitting out in the open since the 1950s. It was wedged in the liner of the locker and it was only found and removed when the man repaired the locker. So don't blame the cleaners or maintenance crew for not knowing it was there all this time since they wouldn't have known until that locker broke.

@@glenn6448 My dad and his drinking buddies once chipped into buy a 1970s Chevy truck with the old H 4-speed stick shift. It was built like a WW2 tank. The bed wouldn't rust and it even had the old fashioned latched tailgate. Not a bad idea as you HAD to make sure you latched it or it would make a flapping sound. Nowadays, I see videos of owners infuriated at the corner cutting going on with truck brands. One owner showed how bad it was: he dropped a rock in his truck bed and it punched a hole right through the metal. That would never happen with my dad's old pickup. My dad was old school and made it stone cold clear: you want a car? You HAVE to learn to use a manual, even if your first car is an auto! Fast forward to today and I'm actually sad that manuals are going away. I seriously think the last petrol car I ever drive will be the one I have now: VW GTI with 6 speed manual. It takes off like a scalded cat. I'm almost scared to floor it. It really does feel like your face is being peeled off when you push the car as hard as you can! Before that, I had a MINI Cooper. Like the GTI, they made it small to keep weight down. The engine had only 120 hp but it also took off when you wanted it too. It had an odd differential, you had to make sure you had a solid grip on the wheel or you'd veer off to the right. Owners of the brand jokingly referred to it as the MINI swerve!

I remember losing my wallet (or rather, I’d had it stolen) at 15 - I had my first bank card in it & my first wage packet inside. I was more heartbroken over the photograph of my puppy, Candy, & the tickets I’d kept of travelling with friends (I kept them for memories sake). I’m 33 now & still think of it! It’s a real shame she wasn’t alive to see it again, but what a lovely story regarding how her family have treasured its contents ! X

You can totally make your own time capsule, It's super simple and a lot of fun! 😊👍 Just make sure whatever you use as your "capsule" is airtight, waterproof, etc if it's going to be buried outside somewhere (obviously) I have a capsule hidden somewhere and I made my own little map one day I'll give it to my kids when I'm much much older and hopefully they'll pass it down to their children and so on.⏳⌛
