L-16's incident report: "On February 15th at approximately 4:15 p.m. dispatch notified units that Springdale PD was in pursuit of a blue Hyundai Sonata with license plate ASL92J. Springdale PD terminated the pursuit southbound on US 112 after exiting off of 612 westbound. I positioned myself on Sunset Ave near the interstate looking for the vehicle shortly after the information was given out. At 4:30 p.m. while stationary I observed a blue Hyundai Sonata approaching me from the west traveling eastbound on Sunset Ave. When the vehicle passed by I matched the license plate with the one given. I pulled in behind the vehicle on Sunset Ave traveling eastbound near I-49. The vehicle after the light turned green immediately made an aggressive and improper turn onto the southbound on ramp to I-49 and began fleeing before my lights and sirens were activated. I notified my dispatch that I was in pursuit getting onto I-49 southbound from Sunset Ave. The suspect fled on I-49 southbound exceeding speeds of over 100 mph. He was going in and out of traffic with no regard for others or himself. He then took exit 70 toward Don Tyson Parkway. We proceeded eastbound on Don Tyson exceeding speeds of 90 mph, and traveling through red lights weaving in and out of traffic. The suspect slowed the vehicle at Atlanta St. and a passenger exit the vehicle. When the suspect attempted to get back on to Don Tyson Parkway I positioned my vehicle so he could not. We then proceeded southbound on Atlanta St. Atlanta St. came to a dead end and the suspect then attempted to turn around back toward Don Tyson Parkway. I performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (T.V.I) and struck the driver side of the vehicle disabling the vehicle from traveling any further. A second passenger fled from the vehicle and I was able to take into custody the driver. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Cody Bogner and was an absconder with the board of Parole. He was charged with the appropriate charges and taken to Washington County. Cody Bogner is to appear in Circuit Court on the following charges: Fleeing by Vehicle or Conveyance (F), Reckless Driving, Obstructing Governmental Operations, Fail to stop at Red Light, Speeding More Than 15 Over, Driving on Suspended, Improper Lane Use, Improper Turn Signals"
