Be careful ordering direct from Bartlein. Their customer service is terrible. I ordered one from them. It was damaged and they accused me of doing it and then wanted me to pay to have it fixed. It is a nice scam them have going on. Unless you are a big name shooter like Josh they don’t care about your business. You might have better chances ordering from 419 if you would rather have one, but Lilja performance is way better and their customer service is definitely better. You actually get replies from the owners with Lilja.

I've been shooting in the cold the past couple of months. What has helped me is keeping the ammo a bit warm. I keep mine in sorted ammo boxes with hand warmer packets on top of the ammo. My temps average 32 degrees. My rifle does not like match at all. The rim thickness and the lube in the cold sticks in the chamber. Rws Rifle match shoots much better in the cold. Lube is similar to CenterX. Interesting video.

It should be mentioned that the Bartlein is a Cut rifled Barrel and Lilja is a Button Rifled Barrel. In F Class rifles i prefer to use Cut rifled barrels and that's pretty much the norm. As far as Button Rifled Barrels go i don't think you can go wrong with either a Lilja or Benchmark and Lilja barrels have the best hand lap and polish i have ever seen. Button rifled barrels have to be stress relieved after being rifled because of the stress of pulling or pushing a button bown the barrel to create the rifling and there is no stress to the barrel while being Cut rifled. I would like to see maybe the same test after the barrels were cryo-treated to see if there were any change to either one. So, you were actually testing more than you thought were. Thanks for your hard work.

Something I'm curious to see someone else test because 1 time and 2 money: barrel length. Is a super short barrel as accurate or more accurate than a long barrel? I'm not sure what pistol you would use to test this without an SBR but I won't tell on you. The benchrest guys have super long barrels relative to the caliber. Other guys deliberately cut barrels to 5" to keep cheap hv ammo subsonic in suppressed builds. If the bullets are going the same speed from the same twist rate barrels despite the barrels being different lengths, what's the point of the extra weight and increased potential to move the barrel with the bullet in it during the shot?

Do you prefer a match chamber with a match barrel? Is it a must? I got CZ 457 varmint I don’t think it comes with match chamber.

Its not necessary

IS 22" to long for a 10/22? Them CZ, they come like that besides the barrel or are the stocks aftermarket too? Heard of Lilja, the other Bartlein do they make it for a 10/22?

What targets are you using for this test? I really like them and would love to order some of my own.

I think those are the targets. I use them and they are the heavy paper.

What are your thoughts on the proof research carbon barrel? Have you had the opportunity to check these out? I’m eyeing one for my MTR VPR.

I havent got my hands on one yet

@@PursuitofAccuracy “yet”, I like my odds of seeing one on your channel in the future. My only concern is if the barrel will be too light. Might end up going with a threaded Barltein; or which ever becomes in stock first.

I’m trying to figure out which CZ 457 to buy. I only have access to 200yd range maximum but mostly the range I will be at most often is 100yds. Can you offer any guidance on which model? Shooting paper and steel only no hunting. Thanks for any advice, Paul.

Honestly get the one that catches your eye the most. They are all great rifles

Would you do a Cz sporter weight barrel like say an American or Synthetic? Also do you ever shoot with a suppressor?
@PursuitofAccuracy2 жыл бұрын
I dont typically run any cans as ive seen them hurt accuracy. Will see if I can find a sporter

What are your thoughts on element chassis currently have AT1 shoots 1/2 moa at 50 but groups really open up at 100 I feel it’s due to not being bedded and no pillars
@PursuitofAccuracy2 жыл бұрын
I really like the element. Little bit light but very solid
