Possibly the person in white is "not receiving correctly 🤔". Looks too dominate ! . He is finding solution by standing too far forward, not allowing his partner equal space . Hope you can understand ☯️🙏 Amitofuo

The equal space is given by the equal beginning arm position and both of them are allowed to put the back chair as wished. From the neutral starting position on which both partners have the exact same position, the advantages and dominance are worked out. Claudio (guy in white trousers) is using the receiving. But during the receiving he also stands ground and does not allow to be pressed back. (That is basically the idea of ground control in chinese martial arts) Also it is very simple: Either you stand on the chairs, or you fall. When you fall it's sure not the 'fault' of your opponent. It's about you and your technique which you should think about, not the opponents dominance or his force. Hope you can understand. Wu Liang Tian Zun

@@youlihan thank you for your clear explanation. I have only practice Taijiquan for a few years and very little experience in push hands. I understand 👍 he is forcing his partner to work against pressure 🤔👍. Yes basic training 👍. I was practicing a similar training method yesterday. My partner practice kicks and strikes so I practice "brush knee","white crane","high pat on horse". Thank you 👍 I think I understand. Tàijíquán is so vast in technique, I wonder if I will ever learn it all ? I hope not ? I enjoy going to lessons so very much 🙏☯️ Amitofuo
