Amazing video tutorial this was very simple to follow and short enough to not lose me. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I love my new head top and it works wonderfully. I’ll never go back to the old type of weed eater spinner heads this one is amazing.

10 year old video and it's still doing justice! I hate my Bolen bump head, it's constant chaos. I just couldn't figure out how to take off the factory head to replace it. This is the solution

Still Works great! I’ve put one on all my trimmers. I’ve had to order off Amazon to get the last one. Hope they aren’t going away! Thanks for commenting ;)

I agree, I just picked up a new troy-built trimmer and I'm pulling the old trimmer off so I can use it on the new. It works very well.

The Push-N-Load is the best. Had it for years and it works great! No more frustration trying to load the old string. Easy to replace string and doesn't break!

@2LateIWon- that's good to know. I have a whole bunch of thicker line, that I hadn't thought about using. I'm going to now. :)

I hear you. I've been very happy with it. No issues. Works great :)

This is the same one I bought about a year ago (or one just like it) I love it. You can actually use a really thick string mine was like .108 or something I can't remember it was the thickest I could fit in there.

Nice!! My straight shaft hypertough had the pull and push head on it and i got a new Bolens BL160 that i wana put the head on but its a different setup. Glad to see the different methods because this video is likely what i have for my bolens

Ive noticed that with the 4 lines coming out the eater bogs down more, now i jist fish the line through one side where it barely exits the other essentially giving me 2 cutting lines once i do both sides and it cuts much better. I feel like the 4 lines offer too much resistance. My straight shaft bolen bl160 I had to actually had to use that cone shaped spacer on my unit but it was straight forward.

I use a bump head on an echo trimmer. I can trim for 4 hours straight without having to touch the string or the head. If I had to stop every minute to replace 2 little pieces of string, I'd be out there all day. I have alot of chain link fence to trim around. I guess the head on the video might be good for a yard where there's no chance of hitting anything but grass and weeds with the string.

Dave Kreitzer I can tell you honestly, you have no idea how good this thing is. Technically you’ll have 4 strings coming out of the head. I carry a couple extra pieces in my pocket. I have chain link fence too and rocks and driveway edging as well. I will NEVER use that piece of garbage bump stop ever again. You can also use different gauges of trimmer cable as well. If your bump stop trimmer head breaks, give this a chance. You could always return it. 😉

Mine is dual line and 5 minutes once a season to roll 8 feet of line is not that much of a bother. Those short pieces in that device wouldn't last long against the concrete sidewalk / driveway.

This was a great video in the sense that I had this dude's same Bloens trimmer he used for the video. This was a big help. Thank you sir for taking the time to produce this clip. 👍👍✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

I have had this trimmer head for 3-4 years and it is the best. Super easy to quickly change lines. Now the question is what is most durable trimmer line to use? I use .095 diameter line... not sure what is the max range for this head?

I haven't had good success with mine. It slings the string out when I start trimming. I work on my own small engines so I'm not a complete idiot! What am I doing wrong?
@CheapGeek4 жыл бұрын
Never had the string come out. Single string is going through both holes right?

How come I can't use this on a electric trimmer?
@CheapGeek8 жыл бұрын
I think that the weight of the head, may be too much for the electric trimmer. The added weight may cause the electric motor in the trimmer to over heat..that's just a guess though. :)
