In my opinion, I think you have to have a wall or some mark to keep the distance between you and the board always fixed. That way you lock into a fixed position and can feel the clear difference of different positions. If you don't make ur position fixed, you will find that most of the positions hits the same muscle group and no difference. Tere are parallel lines on the board. Ex: Yellow line for back and blue line for chest are parallel. Unless you make ur body position fixed, chances are high that you work out the same muscle group with both those lines. Thank you for the review.

05:49 If some of these shoulder exercises put too much pressure on your shoulder joints, maybe you can do knee push-ups instead.
@LivingWellTV4 жыл бұрын
Doing them on your knees would lower the resistance but this wouldn't solve the problem unfortunately. The issue is the position of the shoulder joint and not the load moved. The exercises mentioned overly internal rotate the shoulder joint which can increase the risk of injury.

@jayvonwebb48644 жыл бұрын
@@EclipseMC it's pretty good. Really helped me out in the first week or so of using it. Now I can do normal pushups without it quite easily, but I still use it often when I need to. It's nice to mix them up One of the handles was a bit loose, while the other was quite stiff, but that didnt really affect me doing the pushups. The handles also kind of hurt the palms of my hands when I used them, might be because of the plastic texture that's on the handles, but I just used my workout gloves and that pretty much fixed the issue for me. Other than that it's working as intended to so far. I reccomend it if you're having issues with doing regular pushups. Definitely worth the 7 pounds I spent on it.

my guy said when it comes narrower its harder to stretch the chest..... have you ever heard of diamond pushup or as some would call it closed hand pushup that is one of the best pushup positions for chest workout so the board is perfect for doing that it just makes it easier to do because a lot of people struggle with diamond pushups because of how much pressure it puts on your chest and upper arms
@LivingWellTV4 жыл бұрын
A diamond push up is similar to a close grip bench press. Even though there is a little chest activation, the diamond push up is a triceps exercise and not a chest exercise. The narrow hand position on the push up board does make it slightly easier.

@XX2043XCZ3 жыл бұрын
It definitely will. I’ve been training with push-ups for years and years(being in MMA) and we do a lot of calisthenics workouts. Now the hurting of ur wrist ur feeling is because they r not used to the pressure and angle that pressure is being forced on. If I were you... I would keep using the floor and build that wrist strength. You’ll definitely feel more satisfied when they start to hurt less and less. BUT... if the pain is unbearable and hinders your daily activities, then I would suggest getting this

In my opinion, they're only good for triceps, push ups for chest and pike push ups for shoulders. They won't give you anywhere near a decent back workout. The only reason you may need a larger one is if you want to go wider on your push ups. Otherwise, the 9 in 1 is fine.

@LivingWellTV4 жыл бұрын
It will certainly help strengthen the upper body which can lead to a better form on the bench press. Athough, form is subjective. You either use good form or you don't. If you cannot press a weight with good form, it's likely the weight is too heavy and the weight should be reduced until good form is achieved. Once good form is acheived, slow progressive overload should be introduced.

@jasonweeks80174 жыл бұрын
Over all not a bad video but, I don't find what you said about the narrow grips to be correct. When trying to hit the inner chest you really do need that narrow grip.. its all about how you utilise your elbows and what position your hands are in... if you keep your elbows in (close to your lats) with a vertical grip you will hit triceps, if you spread your elbows more and use a horizontal grip your chest completely takes over... I also recommend putting your feet on a step to maximise the use of your upper chest during your workout.
@LivingWellTV4 жыл бұрын
Using that particular grip with the elbows flared is going to internally rotate the shoulders, which puts them in a highly compromised position when trying to press, and this position adds unwanted stress to the shoulder joints. For me, the risk of injury outweighs the reward.
@jasonweeks80174 жыл бұрын
@@LivingWellTV yeah I guess you have about 20 years on me lol.. but, yeah... I use this grip regularly and so far I have no injuries and i'm gaining strength rapidly.. I think it all comes down to the individual, some people are stronger than others in different areas. I've been weight training for about 10 years and never injured my shoulder doing this. I have always used push up handles to burn out, I know this board tells you where to put your hands but, to be honest I knew everything the board shows anyway. The back positions are a bit dodgy though... I think as long as you know how to use your muscles individually you can train a range of muscles using the same grip.. its all about knowing what your body reacts to and how to maximise tension.
@LivingWellTV4 жыл бұрын

Absolute scam. Imagine people actually thinking that you can suddenly train your back just by switching your hand positions during a push up lmao. Additionally, nearly all calisthenics exercises include your shoulders so why would we wanna hit them during a pushup? Regardless of the fact that switching the position of your hands cannot change the load on your shoulders, we should always try to take the load off the shoulders in order to work the chest and triceps more. Please do not buy this useless crap
