@cantspinlikeme but if the universe is too big it converges to an average of the zero-point energy at every point in the universe and then no matter can exist for an extended period (way less than a nano-second). And no matter means no bass!! I like the idea tho!

Great breakdown! Love watching you get so enthusiastic with the build! Another plus, the 9,900 lb GVWR limit is what the vehicle can SAFELY handle. This takes the suspension and driveline all into account, so with the helper springs in there to make the vehicle handle much better with added weight you've probably raised that limit. With all the weight savings and upgrades that truck should be cruising just fine :)

You can wrap your car port with metal roofing once the tarp material wears out. It's around $400. Use the self tapping metal roof screws. Start at one side and work your way around up over the top and down the other side to keep everything aligned. You'll need three guys. We used a truck with a ladder rack to stand on plus scaffolding. Add a little more cash if you want to add front and back wall. Edges are also really sharp.

One thing to keep in mind when increasing payload capacity is that it isn't just the springs that need upgrading. 400 pounds or so probably won't cause too many issues but payload is about more than springs alone. Wheels and tires have to be up to the task. Axles also have to be able to deal with the extra stress. Some folks with their heavy duty tow rigs have run into issues when they added spring capacity but forgot about the wheels and had a collapse or forgot about the tires and had blowouts. Another thing to keep in mind is very few factory vehicles are built to be used at max capacity, much less over max, at all times. Only time will tell if you'll be alright but I'd check the weight rating on those tires first and then the wheels.

I always use Gasket maker to fix a "poked hole" in surrounds.. If its too big use a piece of plastic window screen. One layer of gasket maker and let dry. Then put window screen and another layer of gasket maker. Any adhesive that bonds strong to surround that flexes after cured will work but that's what I use. Thankfully ive learned to take my time and use finger to guide as screwing in or out.. Doesnt happen anymore
