Putin comments on Trump wanting to stop the war in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he had seen fragments of the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump but that he had enough of his own work to attend to, and added that the United States remained a great power.
He then commented on Trump's suggestion that the war in Ukraine could be ended swiftly.

Putin is implying that the way trump will “end the war” is by abandoning Ukraine and allowing Russia to fully annex all invaded territory and probably the rest of Ukraine as well. Biden has already called for the end of the war. But Putin will not accept any end that does not include Russia being allowed to take land from Ukraine, a nation that has been trying to join nato since 2008.
