Sergey, thanks for this trip down memory lane. I used to live off Bolshoi at Ulitsa Krasnogo Kursanta. 5G won't even work to begin with unless they have antennas every half mile or just under 1 kilometer because they have to work on low power so they won't fry us, so overall I don't see 5G happening anytime soon, like here in Kansas we still only get 2G and 3G operating on the old ambulance frequencies of 800mhz to 1900mhz and some spotty 4G operating on the new 700mhz frequencies that the old TV stations used to use, and there's too much liability in any company taking a chance on a powersurge or something that would alter the power output of these new 5G frequencies operating in the range of 10ghz to 100ghz, it's way too risky and costly to have billions of towers every half mile everywhere, it's useless and pointless, unless they put these antennas out as satellites covering the earth and minimizing their power by the use of low power solar cells.

I have a great deal respect for Nikita Khrushchev, he choose to not be the next Stalin and free up his country from the strangle hold that Stalin use on his people, only later for his own friends to kick him out of office and send him into retirement, Khrushchev has always been portray as positive in the west, it's a shame that he never got a chance to write a memoir, same with Georgy Zhukov he would be so rich and famous if he had a change to tour the west and give speeches, only for a hero like that, to be thrown under the bus by his government for being too famous and powerful.

Growing up, we were taught that Stalin is the one who created the ugly plain boxes of apartments and that they were all communal apartments. It is nice to learn the truth. That said, I really loved seeing the gorgeous buildings. The correct word is "quintesential" instead of "quintesence". I wish that my mother's English was as good as yours. I been very depressed lately as my unemployment insurance claims are failing and I have no money to get by on. When quarantine ends on May 18, I will be homeless. Only in America... I thought that only America had the crazy conspiracy theories about the Coronavirus. I hear so many of the same things from all the right wing Trump supporters over here. Also they claim it is a hoax and not real. I live in a ghetto neighborhood of mostly Mexican immigrants who mostly have less than 6 years of education and they aren't into the conspuracies, which is nice. They wonder at Americans who have gone to high school and college are dumb enough to believe the conspiracies and believe that the Earth is flat and not round. If it wasn't so pathetic, it woukd be something to laugh at.

But now that it's May Day I will go and play my trumpet downtown in some areas where I can practice good distancing. I'll play The Internationale and a song from when the US and USSR were allies in World War II, "God Bless America" by Irving Berlin. Probably also some "Fanfare For The Common Man" by Aaron Copland. Why would Bill Gates want this to happen? It's been known for decades that a pandemic is a matter of When not If, and that the most likely culprit will be a coronavirus. Coronaviruses are all over, in people and in animals. The only surprise is it took this long to happen after the 1918 flu which was also a member of the coronavirus family.

@joco2k what plan is that? Is it the same cabal that orchestrated the medieval plague? You know, that massive conspiracy pulled off, before people had even a basic understanding of medicine let alone viruses or bacteria. Is it the same group that pulled of the influenza pandemic in 1918(another corona style virus)? What about every other epidemic going back in all of human history? Is everything a conspiracy to simple minded people? Like Alex said, shit happens, viruses happen, and viruses especially don't care about anything but propagating (like 16 year old boys). Just because something is beyond your understanding/comprehension or myopic world view doesn't mean it's some conspiracy. Use your cognitive reasoning, read a science book, like Sergey is.

People believe basically everything main stream media puts out but some people choose to believe so called conspiracy theories. So if someone has a very different opinion on what is going on right now that does not mean this person is wrong. It is just a different opinion. None of us knows the truth. We just choose our sources.
@Gcanno
@Gcanno 4 жыл бұрын
There is clear Truth and it is based on Facts backed by Data and Science , Conspiracies are Driven by Baseless accusations ,emotions, and lies for Personal gain and misdirection away from the Truth. The people spreading those are Evil, on this Day The World War 2 pretty much ended and Tens of Millions of Russians were Dead due to the fact one Crazy Evil Person Lied, Mislead and spread Misinformation that many people decided to believe . Facts remain facts regardless if you fail to believe them !. A fact is this Virus is spread through the Air and respiration. Wearing a mask is necessary to stop the spread because stops people who don't know they are infected from infecting others . What you are watching is a experiment with all the people not wearing masks and the result will be evident in the following days and weeks by those infected . Infact other countries have gone through that already and they have Data and Science behind the results . It is foolish to believe somehow doing nothing will result in better outcomes . People that just believe facts and lies are just different opinions are tools for the Evil.
