Love him and love this out-of-character bit. He's absolutely sensational.

Really great performance.....making fun of the whole thing. Earlier in this film (Idiot's Delight), there is a a scene of Gable as a chorus "boy" in top hat and tails singing and dancing to By The Light of the Silvery Moon. Also very funny.

Chuck Berger Another musical of the 30’s where a serious and comedy actor was singing and dancing was Jimmy Stewart warbling in “Born to Dance”. He cannot carry a tune to save him!

This is so awesomely bad - an MGM high-budget, low-grade movie with Clark Gable pretending to sing and dance and Norma Shearer pretending to act.

The girl just behind Gable seems to be fiddling with something towards the end. I wonder if she was wearing a harness to take his weight and was getting it ready to hook on?

Ah, bless him for doing this, but it's such bad dancing! I adore Clark Gable, but...just no. He's better in serious roles. Thank goodness for dancers like Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.
