Thank you my friend! Great tips. My main difficult is how to manage all the materials and resources and how to start? How to evolve the narrative? How to made the experience with surprises and with not expected events or encounters? A pratical gameplay example would be fantastic, but i know that is to ask to much of you or any youtuber. What type of gamplay....the combat...the plot....the tricks/traps/oddities.... what game system are you using? Have you DM'd with an actual group before playing solo?

@@solorpgguy Hi, thank you for the reply. I've not DMing or play in a group, my only experience is RPG came fron the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks. I see several sessions on youtube and some of then are trully funny, with great encounters design (the monster and the way how is lair was build), etc. I have a ton of pdf's with several systems. For start I'm trying to do a solo with Basic Fantasy, but i have shadows of the deamon lord, but haven't read ut yet. My main issue is to create the plot and the history of the gameplay without a GM, and even so being surprised, during the game. The other problem i have is the encounter and is lair design, I've try to create a AI for the foe behaviour, but until today I was not able to do it. Sorry for the long answer and for your patience. Keep this channel alive, this is the only thing that matters.

@@miguelsalgueiro7429 For monster AI, I could use my encounter card set, but for me, I play the monsters/npc's the same way if I was DM'ing a group. During combat the monsters do whatever makes sense to try to kill you, using their best attacks. Mellee monsters get in your face. ranged monsters try to keep distance and turn you into a pin cushion, spellcasters use their magic as effectively as possible, and rogue types hide and wait till an opportunity to sneak attack. As far as plot...just start small, as you progress you will get better and can add as you go. You don't need to spend hours creating an elaborate background and history.

Great Video!! Do you have a video where you explain in detail how you built/made that fantastic binder on 22:50 - what tables to print, necessary infos there, etc. Great stuff!

I just put whatever tables I was using at the time. Currently my folder consist mostly to of the tables from Ironsworn. I use that a lot for my emulator. That binder gets constantly updated. If I don't use a chart in a while, out it goes. Charts that get used the most move to the front.

I need guidelines and how to use the game Masters apprentice cards with basic fantasy RPG as a solo, I've been trying to understand the cards and I'm pretty much do what some of the instructions I'm still a little confused with the oracle I understand that the even is more for regular yes or no questions but the bad odds and the good odds I kind of don't and I would like a little bit more on it. And even maybe how would you play a solo basic fantasy RPG session solo while using the cards as your DM. Thanks I like the channel and I subscribed!
