I have Airlift air bags, and it makes a world of difference towing. Have them on all of our trucks, which makes towing our tractors so much nicer. Keep up the good videos!!

I have owned 5 or 6 different 6.0s . New 6.6s and have new cummins . Thers got to be something seriously wrong with your 6.0 because those old 6.0s will run circles around your 6.6 towing . 6.0s bulletproofed are one of the most amazing trucks .

Some major dealerships will drop old parts like that back into engine compartment so when the owner finds it they can't figure out where it goes. Forcing them to bring it to the dealership for a not so cheap inspection lol

Tow/ haul works pretty decent on the 6.0 with the vgt turbo. If your didn't have it on, worth a shot to help save the brakes.

You absolutely need to get an exhaust for that thing, not for sound but to get the heat out as fast as possible especially if you’re towing.

among all things. Truck needs head studs, a remote oil cooler, egr delete, ficm relocation, full exhaust, and some custom tunes to be safe. You can tow for days with those things

@@parkerbethke he can get away with no studs, I’ve done it, also don’t need a remote cooler, but it can help a little.

@@KDlGG well the stock cooler is built horribly, and the remote ones are a completely different design so that's why they are my goto. And studs are definitely a must for preventative measures, although some people with fairly stock setups get away with the tty bolts

We just make our own mounts and out then on the side of the dump trailer works way better and just use a little chain latch thing to hold it

I heard exactly when the fuse blew. Right when I heard it, I said "There goes the fuse!". I could tell it was about to happen by the way you attempted to cut the wires the first time, then saw it as the 12 volt accessory power wire touched the crimpers as you clipped the ground wire. But you do always say that wiring isn't your for tay.

Tires should be inflated to what the sticker states in the door frame, not what the tire max pressure is. This is regardless of tire size I am running a 10 inch lift on a F350 6.0 with 37 inch tires on Kanati trail hogs. I still go by pressure in the door frame. Also I would run with an SCT programmer always plugged in you can see all temps, alternator, egt's, and boost pressure. Also comes with canned tunes so as mentioned tow tune. I use street tune + Grizzy FICM 40 horsepower tune. I would go with S&B cold air intake, blue spring kit, Grizzy FICM with 40 horsepower tune, and the S&B cool side intake is awesome compared to the plastic tube. Mechman alternator - 320 amp - 200 amp at idle so your battery's are always charged. The stock is around 130 amp and only 70 amp at idle. Brakes go with the Detroit Slotted and drilled rotors keeps the brakes cool.

Just an fyi if you leave the bad battery In the excavator the alternator is running at its highest output the whole time. that will make the alternator burn out. you should replace the battery asap or you'll need to replace both soon.

You know your equipment better then me, but why don't you rotate bucket & arm toward the front after loading past ramps? Would lower the tongue weight more toward axles.
