Armand! Good to see you doing well. Your inventory for the winter looks very impressive. I know that is a lot of work. I have been busy with infrastructure and a project helping a neighbor this summer. I made two sheds last winter with a roof from slabs, they were cedar , and I did something a little different from you. My bottom layer had flats pointed up, so the flat surfaces would fit together, and the capillary action of water would keep them from dripping. This is not something I learned, I just made it up, but the first year I have not seen any drips inside. I think with those type of roofs, a good pitch is better, at least 4 inches per foot, better 6. 10 cm rise per 30 cm run, or 15cm rise per 30cm run. I have a little Milwaukee 6ft/2m tape measure hanging from a clip on my belt, makes conversions easy. I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving, and may God Bless you this winter. Cool intro! You’re a true tree monkey. Neighbour Elaine here, you did well to get that edge lumber to solidly build the addition to the calf shelter. I saw your cumfy “lounge seats” under the roof. Looks like a great place to rest and rehydrate. Nice to meet young Brenda too, she seems pretty chill. And I’m curious what a ton of wood looks like. Hope sales continue for you Johnny. Definitely will be, more than likely will be a early spring video as he's out log hauling and things are picking up now in the logging area. He's got a pretty wicked set up to make lumber. Cheers 🪵
