Being vegetable forward is commendable, but if the price of the meal doesn't fall to reflect the reduced cost of the produce, it's chicanery

just don't eat there if you don't agree with the prices...you're not just paying for the produce, but their mastery and the attention to detail, the experience of eating in luxury. if you just want nice but cheap food, you're free to go to other restaurants.

LOL you would have a field day with the Scandinavian Michelin restaurants, if you think Core is bad. Also, Core features meat and seafood on the majority of its courses...of all the savoury courses, only one is vegetarian. Just because Smyth highly values sustainability and her produce doesn't mean it's vegetarian.
