Please don't think I am trying to act smart or trying to discourage, the technology in land and sea are not the same, the GPS used in land are different from the one used in sea, so in order to prove this works, see if you can do a demo on the boat. I hope this comment reaches the creator of this bot. Consider this as a constructive criticism. Great work with your bot, but there are lot of things that needs to be considered with a boat when compared with a rover. It’s very easy to control L298N motor driver. Here your only parameter are your gps coordinates and directions. You have never considered Roll pitch yaw of the vehicle and to control it. The waters can never be calm, sometimes the waves can be harsh. If you considering autopilot kind of system then you need to control that as well. It’s not as easy as fitting a propeller. Try working on Controlling roll pitch yaw of the surface of the boat. You can simulate this condition with 3 servos and IMU sensors. Many might say your ideas are shit, but I think still more work and more parameters has to be considered. Thanks @sakalakalatv for bringing this to notice.

No need to go government office or fisher department, you need to find a patent filing agents to get a patent rights for your invention. They will forward your claim to authorized department. Its the procedure. And dont blame government concerns and employees, everyone no need to know everything else. For your new invention and ideas can be always welcomes in all countries, but the way of proceeding is important.
