This is genuinely how i believe Umbrella Leaf should work in PvZ2, albeit, I'm not sure if making her into a vine with the use of Plant Food would work in PvZ2, Chard Guard or Spring Bean could be used for the knockback though but then there's the problem of Lost Pilots and lobbed projectiles, maybe in due time, someone will actually be able to make a definitive Umbrella Leaf mod for the official PvZ2

If popcap add it, I’d imagine it would throw all flyers back like a chard guard would, and would likely completely protect covered plants from Parrots, thrown imps, octopi, Jester projectiles, fisherman hooks, Hunter snowballs, zombies kicked by Dinos and break dancers, Parachute zombies, and the catapult and Roman catapult projectiles.

There's a couple of ways to balance this plant where it works like chard gaurd It can knock back falling zombies to the start like imps from gargs or defeat them It loses leaves if it knocks back heavier zombies like basics rather than imps It never loses leaves if it repels catapults or vases or bungees pole vaulters or pterodactyls It remains the same here but only pushes basics back and defeats imps

Amazing work. As an advice I would recommend to make the sun numbers a bit tinier and slighty move both the sun and the PF mark to not have overlaping. Impresive job otherwise! I never seen a PvZ that juicy.

To make umbrella useful, make it work like chard guard but instead of throwing multiple zombies umbrella can only throw one at a time but with a speed like a peashooter. It is like having a better spring bean (remove that bean please) What is great about this idea is she can now be paired with slowing plants. Also you can now use her at any stages of the game

Umbrella leaf would be op bc it can counter these zombies Octo Zombie: {The octo zombie will throw octopusis that umbrella leaf could fling} Prospector zombie: {prospecter will go in the back on ur lawn bc of his tnt but the umbrella leaf could just fling prospector} Imp cannons: {it will throw imps but umbrella leaf would fling then off} Lost pilot: {Lost pilot comes out from the sky but umbrella leaf could just fling him} Zcorp Helpdesk: {same thing as lost pilot} Zcorpion Zombie: {launches Vases with zombies but umbrella leaf would fling the vases} Zombie Bull: {Throws an imp but if the umbrella leaf is close to the imp it will fling it} Jetpack zombie: {Sometimes they come out from the sky and flys over inf nuts forcefield and other plants but umbrella leaf will fling them} (if they didnt come out from the sky they still get flinged if its close to umbrella leaf) Disco jetpack zombie: {Gets summond by Disco imps and gets flinged by umbrella leaf same thing as Jetpack zombie} Bugbot imp: {when comes out from the sky it gets flinged as usual} (This zombie cant get flinged but it throws and imp when half hp and thats gargantuar they cant get flinged but if it throws an imp it gets flinged)

I now wonder if Umbrella Leaf would synergize with Chard Guard or Primal Peashooter. Both Chard Guard and Primal Peashooter render the zombies airborne which makes them vulnerable to Blover's attack. Perhaps if the zombies are knocked back towards Umbrella Leaf's range, they'll be bounced off the lawn.
