Using a large storage bin inside the bathtub as a dog tub works well for really getting dog fully wet . Helps to soak the underparts and clean paws and legs.. and great for removing all soap.

For a dog that doesn't like to be bathed, this is a super well behaved dog! :)

I've how you break the grooming experience into its many intricate parts. Groiming is not as easy as it might seem. Thank you for revealing the truth of it all.

Hi Donna, your videos are very detailed and informative thank you for sharing. Is there a specific brand of shampoo/conditioner and how often can you bathe them? You have the best dogs!

I really like the detail and process of your videos. Informative and enjoyable to watch 😁 What are your thoughts about doing some initial trimming (like pads, paws, face, and ears) before washing? Would that make it easier to get rid of embedded sand and such? Or is the effort vs payoff not worth it? (I really don’t know. not a leading question.)

it depends on if the dog is clean. trimming a dirty dog especially feet, will dull blades and scissors. if dog is clean i tend to shave rear before bath and touch up after drying.

It is certainly fine to do that but a dirty dog will gum up and ruin your blades. They never trim as smoothly if dirty. Sometimes I will trim with old blade then wash then re trim.
