You can use make up and pick a dark skinned me. That's what I did for a while but the hands were still light so it looked silly.

Peter, you can actually make your chances of getting the public works requests greater by filling your entire inventory with bells and removing everything else. That way the animals don't like request to buy your stuff off of you or swap something with you, etcetera. Love your videos by the way, very informative and amusing and such.

Your videos are too cute. I also noticed one night when I was too tired to finish catching beetles that I closed my game while the screen said "WHOA!" in the zoomed in catching screen. The next morning I ran out, came back home around 11 and my character had a very noticeable tan and was still standing there holding the Golden Stag lol. So I'm guessing the game still registered that I was playing even though I'd closed it for several hours.

for the third tidbit, you'll increase the probability of getting a PWP suggested if you store all your money, wear all custom clothing, and fill your inventory with flowers, and make sure your letter slots are all full.

I need help. Somebody in my town moved in in the worst spot, in the middle of a flower garden, and she blocked off my pathway. I did the thing you said, created a new save file but instead of turning the game off, I accidently saved and quitted. I made a new file to find the reserved spot is in the same place. What do I do?

To increase PWP requests, empty your pockets and fill them with flowers, and tools are fine too. This way villagers can't give you items, or trade and ask for stuff eliminating three of the options. Also, put all of your money on the ground, less than 100 is fine. This way they can't sell you stuff. Now it is basically nicknames, catchphrases, or a PWP request! Feel free to correct or add things if I missed/got something wrong :).

Ok so I went on as my mayor and noticed that someone set up there home in my perfect fruit garden. I turned my ds off without saving but when i made my new character it was still there. I TRIED 10 TIMES WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!?!?!?

Even if you didn't save, you loaded up as mayor. So you absolutely have to load up as a new one, no matter what. Then before saving as the new character, look around. If you like the villager/placement, then save.

If you change your nickname they won't ask again which narrows it down. And fil your pockets with bells or flowers so villagers can't buy, give. Trade or sell stuff from you which narrows it down quite a lot

Hah thanks for the tanning info. I made my character really tan one time, with brown hair and eyes. She looked Spanish :D I am corny and made my boyfriend a character on it too, but he's really tan in person, so I wanted a quick way to do so. Thanks again for all this info. For the fast(er) public work projects tip, when the villagers do the ping is it possible that they will want to move? Because the villagers usually have a ping and come up to you when they want to move.
