Pyle wireless mic: unreliable!
The PRT254.6 wireless mic can be bought separately for about $75, but also comes bundled with some of the Pyle PAs.
While I love the PA (check out my review of that: • Guitar and vocals with... ), I’d opted to use a Behringer Ultravoice instead of the Pyle because the sound was better, but this weekend I was forced to use the Pyle wireless mic when I forgot to bring the necessary wire mic adapter. I discovered that the Pyle mic is just not that reliable.

Found you because I’m having the same issue. I had it going for a few seconds and then it went out.

Yeh I just swapped over to a separate wireless headset, or use a cable mic when I can

Pyle's mics are average quality at best. It's very unfortunate because their receptors are great (I use the PDWM8250), and a single unit can receive 8 mics simultaneously without problems. But as you described well, the mics are not very reliable.
