I have a theory as to why alternates don't look right when they take over. When they take over I believe they act as cameras and take a sort of picture of a person's face from an angle. Then when they go to move their copied face the angle at which they took this "photo" is flawed as it only copies one angle of the human face. Thanks to Face Studio 2 the alternates used an advanced technique to get a whole scan of a person's face, thus can more effectively replicate themselves. With Face Studio 2 they are trying to make it harder to differentiate alternates from people.

Ok my theory is that Adam, aka The Mandela Prophet is the being who can create other Alternates, but he does it in a uncounscious way. That's why he survives all his interactions with Alternate, because if they killed him, they would lose. According to the last part either he is "patient zero" or the god found a way to "clone" him. Bit like a test, once he is able to clone the prophet, he can conquer the world. The Intruder (or the man on the TV) is the envoy of that God (or Satan/Grabriel). He is in charge of teaching Adam (the Alternate Prophet inside of him or smthg) how he can create other alternate (seeing by how he appeared as Stanley when he was a child, telling him how to create "friends"). This is why he is so smart, yet can't copy an other being, because one that's not his role, two he need to be a separate entity to not create confusion for Adams. If my theory is correct, then in this universe, the new Adam is the one who will "destroy" the world, like an evil joke/throw back to the orginal story of Adam in the Bible. Adam became the Trojan Horse without himself knowning about it. That would also be the reason why God wants to kill Lieutenant Thatcher, a single human, because he is actually really close to the answer (as seen in the archive of the police station, they have eyes on him). If Thatcher kills Adams, God's plan will fail. That's his Achille's heel.

@@redactedv01d98 the thing about him not being an alternate came from the assumption that the force manipulating the body in "Intruder Alert" is 6 (that's the intruder's name), and the video says that this force isn't an alternate. Also, in one of the interviews that I'll try to find, Alex said that 6 is something else. But given the recent leaks, it might have just meant that he's a special kind of alternate. One of his kind, but still an alternate. And the thing about him being able to manifest anywhere also comes from that interview. You can also see that his face sometimes just appears in darkness, in multiple videos.

Im extremely late to say this but some things you should know is that Stanley making “friends” from the imaginations of children and possibly even through the use of face studio 2 are the 4th type of alternates known as “Tulpa” and it is possible that this is the alternate that the intruder (also known as Stanley or 6) protected Adam from when Jude (Adam’s father) made the call to Thatcher about the man he has never seen before in his life. Watching this year later, but I think the Stanley guy is like Jesus but for Satan, and I think Adam helped create the alternates when he was a kid I’m almost sure that Adam was the kid that watch that VHS tape. so Satan can be manifested through what a kids perception of people are, which was the friends that he told Adam to think about. And also knowing about the Bible, and how Stanley says he creates the friends, but the kids have to imagine them. Like how everything we do is because God allows us to., We do it through him.
