Thanks for another great video. Beautiful piece of work! Have you had any issues with warpage of the flange after welding?
@doomsdaydiesel Жыл бұрын

So have you found this is needed for jeep wranglers?
@doomsdaydiesel10 ай бұрын
On YJ's yes. On TJ's, it is if you don't want to move the transmission.

@@doomsdaydiesel ok so I assume if I where to move my ax15 back I wouldnt need to do this? Any do and don’t with a tj?
@doomsdaydiesel10 ай бұрын
@@richardmauch1042 move the ax15 back and mount the engine high enough, and you can keep the factory 617 pan

@@doomsdaydiesel thanks for responding to my questions. I am currently looking the scrap yards and market place for a donor. Once I start that I’ll be making a bunch of orders through you. Any things to look out for while my search begins for an engine or just the usual?
@doomsdaydiesel10 ай бұрын
@@richardmauch1042 just make sure the crank will rotate (27mm). Not worth pursuing if it's seized

I understand the issues that come with low oil pressure but what happens to engine internals when you have too high of oil pressure?
@doomsdaydiesel Жыл бұрын
Blow seals, oil lines, etc
@KrautSpaceMagic Жыл бұрын
@@doomsdaydiesel ah, so theoretically if an entire engine was designed with seals and lines that could handle it, it wouldn't damage any of the rotating mass wear surfaces? Maybe just reduce the service life of the oil
