In this full digital episode, the giant python Atomic Betty has a HUGE lump on her spine from a fracture, which could mean paralysis from that point down. Tim also shows us some of the delicious food he feeds the animals at the park.

Canadian 🇨🇦 here. That looks like a hummingbird but bigger than the hummers I used to get at my old home. I moved into an older home, built in the 1980’s. Needed a huge overhaul on my large yard and as well in the house. I wanted to learn what plants, shrubs and flowers to lure butterflies & my favourite hummingbird, the Ruby Throated Hummingbird. Each year there is a huge migration from South America up to the Maritime Provinces of Atlantic Canada. There are maps online where you can follow the yearly migration of this pretty bird. So I chose all bell or trumpet shaped plants and shrubs for them. I already had many sugar feeders but having to wash and fill these feeders daily to every second day was timely plus rather costly in sugar…. You never put red food colouring in their food as it is poisonous to them. In the evenings, my Liam, my fur baby a Golden Retriever would sit on the deck and watch the hummers come to feed they would buzz around your head even. Have to say my boy was very gentle with them, and admire but no attempt to catch one. Their nests are very, very teeny tiny and well, their eggs are as well. You have many beautiful colourful birds there as well. One almost looks like a little parrot.

I do so love Tim's love for reptiles and other animals; his enthusiasm, his energy !!! I once had a chameleon in Kenya when at boarding school (300 miles from home). I saw its birth and its brothers and sisters - they arrived neatly packed in what looked like plastic bags. Their mother completely ignored them, so being a big softy, I adopted one to take home. The journey was long and at one point I fell asleep and forgot about ""Dozy". On arrival, my parents were waiting and when I went to see them my mother screamed - she saw I had a strange animal sitting happily on my school hat. Dozy became a family pet which we took round the house to feed him - he ate all the flies and other insects - better than any insecticide !!!!

i love watching animals eating. i mean, here they are eating this stuff, whatever it is, and it makes them live and grow. and i think what an incredible thing that is. have you ever gone long enough w/o eating and you feel literally weak? then you eat something (healthy) and feel much better! i know quite a bit about digestion and nutrients and where they go in a biological system and it still gets to me! how do rhinos and hippos get so big and really muscular eating grass!? it’s amazing. 🌷🦘🐢🐶🐘🦍🐊🦏🐢🦛🐈🐕🐋🌷
