Pure genius!!! We wouldn’t even do music if it wasn’t for the existence of a hand full of bands… but Radiohead are the pinnacle reason we wanted to even try to make music. We love Radiohead and they are a level we will never reach but they make us want to try.

Thom is a snake charmer. He mesmerizes the audience and the drums follow him too. I think Radiohead follows his lead also. They go with it. I wonder if they got the drum theme from Talking Heads Izimbra David Byrnes' drummers marching.

Well there is already another 5/4 (5/8 gives the same groove) that is quite groovy. Take 5. So maybe 5/4 is inherently a groovy meter.

@@Atlas65 yeah it depends how it's done i think. sometimes it can sound awkward but with just the right touch it's groovy. Yes Take 5 is awesome. Also 7 can sound awkward but Pink floyd made Money sound more groovy than anything. Some bands just feel out how to make it work.

@@halfalligator6518 Yes that is true. Often if songs with that meter are made by an overly educated music major, that analyzes way to much it is most likely not going to sound groovy. So it need the right touch, you are right with that. I think that Radiohead have even made 7 sound groovy. Isn't Paranoid Android in 7, f example?
