When go to the beach at the Valentin around 10:30am and then go over to the “rectangular” pool around 2:00 pm and ALWAYS get a chair. The main pool has zero chairs available during those times so the rectangular pool is a blessing in disguise + you get really good drink service there. Around 3:00 pm we hit the swim up bar and stay until 5:00 or so. NOT getting up at 6:00 am on vacation to go get a chair. Chair game is at ALL resorts now. Has more to do with the guests than resort itself.

What shoes do you recommend packing for a 5 days in july trip there?

Hello! For shoes, I’d recommend water proof flip flops/sandals to wear around the pool. The ground can get very hot, so it’s nice to have shoes you can slip on and off by the entrance to the pool. For evenings, either flats (like a cute sandal) or wedges. The ground surface is very uneven and the walk on the boardwalk area can be very difficult to walk on in heels. If you want to do the bike tour, you have to be wearing tennis shoes. Hope that helps!

Restaurant update: le Marche (buffet) is being remodeled but it's not closed. It has been temporarily relocated to the theater until renovations are complete. Oh, and we're bldg. 5ers every time! 🙃

Wow! It’s hard to imagine eating a buffet in the theater. I can’t wait to see the changes the next time we go!

Is there a limitation on pool towel per client? I mean can I get three in the same time for one chair?

Hello! They will deliver the number of towels to your room based upon the guests registered for that room (they’ll leave two towels for two people, and so on.) You are welcome to bring your own towels if you’d like extra.

how are their early/late check-out policy like? We are arriving 6hrs early & leaving 5hrs after the check-out :-(

We haven’t ever checked in that early, but they have offered us the chance to store our luggage up front and start enjoying the property. I would assume that would be the case in your situation with both check in and check out. Have fun!!!
