Further to your comment about admiring when people grow and mature, I think a huge part of that is the actual recognition that they need to grow and move on from things. I know so many people who are stuck in the same cycle of the sane conflicts because they never learn the lesson or because they always attract that energy. I love that answer you gave and totally agree with you!

I suffered extremely heavy painful periods from age 24 after my baby, no doctor was helpful, then when I was 41 I was took to hospital with such heavy bleeding it was just flooding everytime I moved, and they were lasting 3 months at a time I was given a hormone tablet to stop it and got referred to see a gynaecologist. He did a D&C and the results showed hemorrhage tissue and adhesions, he told me at my age he wasn't going to anything because I'd be in the menopause sooner than later, and that was it. 😭😭😭😭😭 Luckily I stopped having periods when I was 49 but those 8 years after being told to basically suck it up were the most horrid years I can think off, I lost time from work, holidays were near impossible, and the pain was crucifing. So yes I totally agree with you, I'm so glad your getting help at last sweetie 💖💖💖💖💖

I use to think like you Gabby, in regards to having children alone, I thought I’d do absolutely everything alone, house children the works and I absolutely loved been alone and spending my time to myself and doing what I wanted when I wanted without having to tell anyone or ask permission to either if that makes sense. Then nearly a year go I went on a date with my now partner and he’s made be do a complete 180° in what I want in life and I guess that can be down to the fact that I’m lucky we get on so well (and I’m not exaggerating either) so don’t close yourself off Gabby coz one day he might just pop into your life when you really least expect it like me ♥️

So happy to hear your answer to the last Q, I'm really similar for as long as I can remember my main goal in life was about losing weight/being skinny and my MH suffered terribly. It was only when I started to focus on loving myself as I am and my goals being about my life and making me happy that my MH improved, and even though I am still bigger that doesn't mean I'm worth any less than anyone else. I also hate diet culture and places like Slimming world and WW have had too much of my money already so I'm happy to never give them another penny!
@Livkate_xo4 жыл бұрын
100% agree with the slimming world comments, I’ve found it extremely toxic since I’ve stopped doing it! Constantly, thinking about the s**s in food still now and that’s not right xx
@sophistein59544 жыл бұрын
Completely agree with your views on Slimming world! All they want is your money and the 'advice' they give is complete BS! I remember once I contacted my 'consultant' because I hadn't lost any weight in a few weeks and I mentioned that I drink 2-3 litres of water a day and go for long walks daily and she actually told me that excersize and drinking water doesn't help weight loss at all and I should excersize less and follow the SW plan better. I couldn't actually believe she said that to me

Couldn’t agree more about Slimming World! So toxic to demonise food as a “syn”!
@rebecarendell4 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry that you have obviously had such a bad experience with Slimming World. If you view SW as a 'diet', then it's never going to work, and if you don't want to actually lose weight, then there are definitely better ways to address your relationship with food, but for me personally it's been revolutionary. I'm at 5.5 stone loss so far (plenty more to go!), and having embraced the lifestyle change, something that I know will stay with me for life, I can safely say it has completely changed my attitude to food, without me having lost my passion for it, which is something I was very nervous about. It's not for everyone, I completely agree, but if anyone is thinking about trying it, I believe it's better they make their own minds up, because for some of us, it's literally been a life saver.

I'm so glad that you have stopped dieting because you don't bloody need to you're fabulous! I started doing WW I think around the same same time you were doing that or SW (they're all the same!) and I gave up after 3 or 4 weigh-ins because I got scared that it was going to make me have more of a bad relationship with food and my body than I already do and I ain't about that life like if you want cake just eat the damn cake! I would also like to recommend a podcast called Wobble it's by Jules von Hep and Sarah Powell they discuss all things mental health and body positivity and they're just good eggs also recommend that you follow them both on insta and their other pod the Jules and Sarah podcast. WARNING the second podcast will make you want to eat all things cheesy! Port Salut Crew FTW

Hey babe you should definitely switch GP surgeries. I had this for years and didn’t realise you can actually just change, as soon as I did I was taken seriously and managed to have the diagnostic operation much more quickly. If you ask to be referred to gynae at a hospital and they say no, you can complain or ask to see someone else. Also research BGCE accredited people for endo- it is definitely worth it to see someone that has specific knowledge. Join the UK endometriosis Facebook page too, it’s full of so many helpful people! How can I get to the juniper moon website? I can’t seem to find it. When trying to find it I found the most awful thread about you on a gossip website, I’m sure you know about it, but I was just in disbelief that people spend that much time watching your videos just to talk sh*t. I’m watching you for many many years and I really love you 😊 But the thing you said about a relationship with someone... I have to disagree. I have a great work life and amazing friends, but the fact that you are so close with someone, they are always there for you and you have constant support, this cannot be replaced. I thought that friends are always for me and that’s the fact. But it will never be to that extend as with a special someone. It just won’t. I have that person in my life and in comparison to how it was before, yes it was great to have my friends and family, but having him makes me feel really calm, secure and loved. This kind of love is more than needed in life. I hope that everyone will find that person, don’t give up, everyone will find someone, you just have to open your heart and want to be loved ❤️
