Great that you talked about what if we won't end up being a kpop idol cuz chances are obviously very high that i won't.....but whenever i think about that i will not be able to become one, i ultimately get depressed each n every time।।...but hope i will accept it, I'm currently audition for various companies though, but i know I'm not good enough to get accepted.... I'm also 17, will turn 18 on Jan.....and took a year drop to study for college entrance exams to get in prestigious one of the universities of my country...

Even if you don't debut as an idol, you have plenty of different option and may I ask why uou wanna be an idol? If you're passionate about music, why not do it in your country since you'll be more recognized and respected there?

@@imjgil I'm more into kpop and Western music that's why I'm trying to get in Kpop cuz it also include some western style...that's why I don't want to to debut in my country.... I'm from India..... it's unique and I also want to be recognised globally...Moreover there are only 2 Indian kpop idols and both are female....so I've a dream to debut as a first male idol from my country but obviously....sometimes we dream too big, even though they are kinda out of our hands......Yes, we can achieve them by hard work and determination...... I'm trying...........

@@kpopstufffffff I'm not trying to be rude but you can still do western music In your country or go to america. Like prateek kuhad for example, he is a pop Musician and his songs are quite good plus you'll have more freedom to produce than kpop companies but I don't wanna demotivate you so best of luck!

@@kpopstufffffff a quick advice from a past 11 year trainee, it's quite hard to debut even if you work hard with determination. Nowadays, all the companies care about is looks and no talent that's why I suggest you read into these things and choose your decision wisely

I still have not received a response. I regret it very much. I wish I hadn't participated. So I passed yg zoom auditions 1 round twice and once a jyp auditions online round 1 because of my singing and I was practicing from a long time but then I got flu and got some serious illness and can't practice singing for more then a month and now my all ability of singing has gone and can't hit a simple note properly can some one tell me what to do

-Hello everyone! I am using a translator, sorry if there are errors. I have a question: I really want to audition for Source Music, but is there a part of Source Music's audition privacy policy that says they can use our information to advertise? I checked the page myself but nowhere did I see that they said or specified that they could use our name, images or videos to post or do anything else. From what I saw, they use this data for evaluation purposes, but I couldn't see the part where they talk about it specifically. I do not want my photos, videos, etc. to be published. I think that apart from the company, people with experience in this can help me solve my doubt. (Source Music's privacy policy is on their official page, you can find it there, or it can also be found on their audition form for those over 14 years of age).

There are no bad or good companies. Every company has it's bad and good qualities. If the concept isn't of your liking, you can always leave and start as a Soloist but if you're scared you better not do it since only the toughest survive here

I really don't suggest you becoming a solo kpop artist if you're not korean because they are mostly likely to be flop or get backlash from the public for being a foreigner. Try being in a kpop group first and then Soloist

Hi! I'm studying at yale music school and I think I can answer this question since our professors teach us how to build up a music career in our first lesson. First of all, you need to have something very unique about you. I mean, you don't have to be Beyonce or even celine dion but if you're lucky enough to have a unique voice that stands out from everyone, you'll get lots of recognition but even if you don't, don't worry! I suggest you first build up your media presence by doing tutorials or singing in streets (I know it sounds weird lmao) which can help you to get scouted by a music entertainment company. I think it'd be better if you start a music career in the US since this country has more opportunities than any other country but also remember, there are a lot of dark sides to the music industry, just be careful and you'll be fine! The rest is your hardwork and dedication and you'll be a great singer I hope in the future!

oh, why regret? it's actually a common experience. you don't have to be ashamed of following your dreams :) those who spend their time looking for the faults in others, usually spend no time to work on themselves

Only a few of them sent an automatic message saying that they saw my applications and it has been 1 year. I have not received any response. They won't share my videos, right? I'm very ashamed and scared.
