I've not seen garter snakes try to eat other snakes, so hopefully your individuals continue to uphold that. From everything I've seen, garters tend to take to each other quickly and do well together shortly after meeting. There can always be execptions, of course. I would say don't stress about it too much, but I know that's easier said then done. So please don't be too hard on yourself! I hope your garters enjoy each other's company and cohab well! I know Snake Discovery cohabs garters, so they could be a good sorce of information and support as you start cohabing yours!

Hi Jessica, I just joined your membership....my only one on KZbin as the work you carry out for your pets is outstanding. I pray that all tests come back letting you know you are ultra healthy and fine You quite simply have no time to get sick...not with so many rescues(people are cruel I know). I use shelf liner and plastic/fake plants. I just make sure they aren't sticky, Don't have small holes, and don't stink or give off obnoxious aromas. Plastic plants just need to be soft enough to reduce scratches. I also tend to get the fabric fake plants because they are softer and absorb more water when misted, which increases humidity. I have never had a problem with the shelf liner if it's being changed out. Puppy pads (unscented) are also a safe option for anything without claws. I use those in my frog medical tanks instead of paper towels because puppy pads are more difficult to ingest. I've had to improvise since I can't seem to keep plants alive. I tried making a bioactive tank a couple of times and I keep failing. So artificial it is for my little menagerie.

If you get a chance could you make a video on what plants you would recommend using for different geckos like leos afts and cresties

You are an inspiring pet keeper, please continue! A question, my leopard gecko is not in a bioactive enclosure, but could I put plants in her enclosure? Perhaps air plants or little plants in pots? Thank you for all your help and guidance to us!
